Lashing Scars is a conduit for rogues. It drops from the following bosses:
- The Lord Chamberlain in the Halls of Atonement
- Sire Denathrius in Castle Nathria
- The Prototype Pantheon in the Sepulcher of the First Ones
- Valinor in Bastion
- Mortanis in Maldraxxus
- Oranomonos the Everbranching in Ardenweald
- Nurgash Muckformed in Revendreth.
An ilvl 145 version is also rewarded from 
[60] Strengthening the Bond.
It can also drop from various Shadowlands rare spawns, world quests, and Covenant Callings, scaling to your item level.

- During the beta, the item was named Slaughter Scars.
Patch changes
Patch 9.0.5 (2021-03-09): Lashing Scars now causes 4 additional lashes (was 2). This will allow the Rogue to start at 5% Haste upon activation. - Patch 9.0.2 (2020-11-17): Added.
