Kurun is an elite stone giant quest giver located atop the hill over Thor Modan in Grizzly Hills.
He leads a faction of earthen and giants. A Fallen Earthen Warrior as well as Scout Vor'takh sent adventurers were sent to him to aid him against iron dwarvres who tried to retake their old city.[1][2] He requested to disrupt the iron dwarves' work by throwing boulders into the exposed area of Thor Modan.[3] Since the iron dwarves used their runes to enthrall many of his brothers to use them to break the siege on Thor Modan, Kurun imbued an earthen shard and asked the adventurers to use it fortify his brethren.[4] Next step of the defense was to sending the heroes to deep into the city and kill Iron Thane Argrum, the dwarf commanding the resistance,[5] successfully turning the tide of the battle for Thor Modan. With this victory, he sent the adventurer to Gavrock in order to continue freeing his brethren.[6]
