Objectives

Kelidan the Breaker: Lieutenant to Ner'zhul. Master Sorcerer of the Shadowmoon.

Slay Keli'dan the Breaker.

Description

One of Ner'zhul's lieutenants remains, up ahead. The exit to the cave isn't much farther past him.

I will go back and tell Khadgar that the cave is clear. We will rendezvous once you've taken cave of Keli'dan!

Rewards

You will receive:

• 13700 XP

Completion

Fine job in the cave, but this is no time to rest.

We have momentum. We must stay in motion.

Notes

On accept:

Exarch Maladaar says: This acolyte and I will retrieve the rest of our group. Do everything in your power to stop that orc from opening the portal!

Yrel says: We will return with help.

They run over to the ledge and leap over it to head back.

Head west through the iron Cage Door to find Keli'dan the Breaker.

Keli'dan the Breaker yells: You - from beyond the portal! You will make a marvelous sacrifice.

Kill him for another cutscene:

Keli'dan the Breaker yells: Ner'zhul... Help me...

Ner'zhul pops out of the portal.

Ner'zhul says: Worthless...

Ner'zhul says: Your scurrying is at an end, rats.

Archmage Khadgar says: Not so fast, Ner'zhul.

The party walks up to join the player, facing down Ner'zhul.

Ner'zhul says: Yes... step closer! I will bury you alive for the glory of the Iron Horde!

Ner'zhul channels a spell which makes the cavern shake; he's about to destroy the cave! He laughs as he finishes speaking and escapes through the portal.

Thrall yells: Khadgar! Get us out of here!

Khadgar teleports the party to the surface, in the Blackrock Quarry. He coughs.

Archmage Khadgar says: That was close.

Archmage Khadgar says: There is no turning back. We press on, through the very jaws of the beast.

Follow Khadgar northwest to the makeshift camp.
