Geirrvif is a Val'kyr quest giver located in Valhalas in Icecrown. Geirrvif is the watcher and judge of the Valhalas Tournament battles and oversees whether the challengers win or lose. Despite her status as a Val'kyr, she is very friendly to the adventurers.

During their travels through Northrend, the brothers Bronzebeard noted that Geirrvif was still alive, and still overseeing Valhalas. She is the last of the known Scourge Val'kyr, having been stated to have survived the War against the Lich King. Unlike her sisters, she was not amongst the The Nine Scourge raised Val'kyr; whom she also has outlived.

• If you die she will yell "You were not prepared!"
• She was present in Icecrown during Death Rising, though Valhalas was not updated for the event. Regardless, her inclusion appears to be in-line with her canonical fate.

Speculation

Given her positive disposition towards the player, and the fact that she was not a part of The Nine and has remained in her duties at Valhalas, it is possible Geirrvif was one of the original Val'kyr who were corrupted by the Lich King, rather than created by him.
