Improvements

Notes

  • Damaging a critter will not cause Frozen Orb to stop moving.
  • Despite what the tooltip says, Frozen Orb cannot grant [Fingers of Frost] unless the Fingers of Frost talent is also taken. This only matters while leveling, since it isn't possible to move on to row 5 of the Frost tree without taking Fingers of Frost.

Trivia

  • This ability has been mentioned in multiple April Fools' Day patch notes:
    • 7.8.0 Patch Notes: "The Artifact Traits 'The Storm Rages' and 'Let It Go' have been removed from the game, along with the Frozen Orb ability, because seriously that movie came out like 4 years ago and we're tired of hearing about it EVERY SINGLE DAY."
    • Patch 9.4.0: "Frozen Orb now afflicts you with Insomnia if you stay up late pondering it."
