Fallen Charger is a Mawhorse that spawns near the active Covenant Assault in the Maw every one-to-six hours. Defeat the charger for a chance at the 
[Fallen Charger's Reins] and 5% progress toward 
[60W] Shaping Fate. The charger also drops 
[Splintered Horseshoe] and 
[Charger's Armor Spikes].
Vignette
One of the vignettes for 
[Conquering Korthia], the charger is announced with a zone-wide emote:
- An earsplitting whinny echoes across the Maw as the Fallen Charger begins its ride.
Spawn locations are based on the active assault:
- Kyrian - TBD
- Necrolord - [28.1, 64.7] on the bridge to Altar of Domination in Perdition Hold
- Night Fae - [17.7, 49.5] in upper Crucible of the Damned
- Venthyr - [28.3, 15.5] in the Tremaculum
Camp the spawn location, as the charger runs faster than ground mount speed, then runs in the direction of the border with Korthia:
- Necrolord path: On the bridge to Altar of Domination, through Perdition Hold, then across the Face of Oblivion and down the western side of the Beastwarrens
- Night Fae path: Through the southern Planes of Torment, southern Zovaal's Cauldron, across Detrithos, down the Face of Oblivion, then down the western side of the Beastwarrens
- Venthyr path: Through the Tremaculum, the northern Planes of Torment, past Ve'nari's Refuge, then through the northern and eastern paths of the Beastwarrens to the southern border with Korthia.
If it reaches Korthia, it will despawn, announced with another zone-wide emote:
- Fallen Charger releases a final mournful whinny as it fades away.
Abilities
Crushing Hooves — Causes an enemy to take 20% increased Physical damage for 24 sec. Inflicts Physical damage to an enemy.
Fallen Charge — Charge an enemy, inflicting Physical damage and knocking enemies away.
Fallen Riders — Summons the fallen souls of riders who failed to tame this mount on random players. Fallen Riders fixate on these players and inflict Shadow damage in an explosion of Destructive Greed upon reaching them.
Destructive Greed — Inflicts 40 Shadow damage to enemies within 6 yds on impact, stunning them.
Headbutt — Inflicts Physical damage.
Swiftness — Increases haste and movement speed of nearby allies.
Patch changes
Hotfix (2021-07-15): Fallen Charger will now drop an appropriate amount of Maw loot, such as Stygia, Ve’nari Reputation, and a chance for a Korthian Armament. Fallen Charger will now incur the daily loot lockout when you kill it. With this change, we’ve increased the drop chance of the Reins of the Fallen Charger by 3x. - Patch 9.1.0 (2021-06-29): Added.
