Drum Fel is an orc quest giver located in Hammerfall in the Arathi Highlands. He is married to Korin Fel.[1]
History
World of Warcraft
After Tallow recruited Horde champions to strike against the Boulderfist clan at Boulder'gor,[2] Drum Fel had them press the attack by striking at the Witherbark tribe,[3] the rest of the Boulderfist within Boulderfist Hall,[4] and even within Stromgarde Keep itself. With their enemies dealt with, Drum felt that Hammerfall would begin to thrive in the Highlands.[5]
Since the ogre Or'Kalar harbored an intense hatred for Drum and wished nothing more than his death for defeating him years ago, his wife, Korin, hid traces of Or'Kalar's presence in Stromgarde to prevent Drum from falling into the ogre's trap.[1]
Cataclysm
Following the Cataclysm, Drum once again called upon Horde adventurers to crush the Witherbark tribe, as they were working with the Boulderfist ogres to rid them from the land.[6] He later sent them to meet Elder Torntusk at Revantusk Village in order to help the Revantusk tribe fight the Vilebranch tribe in the Hinterlands, as the latter were distracting them from their battle with the Alliance.[7]
Heartlands
In the aftermath of the Fourth War, Overlord Geya'rah and the Mag'har Clans were granted the stronghold as a place for their people to make a fresh start on Azeroth,[8] with Geya'rah seemingly replacing Drum as the ruler of Hammerfall.
The War Within
At Eitrigg's directive, human refugees were given sanctuary in Hammerfall. Though obeying Eitrigg's command, Drum was of the opinion that it was "better to leave them to their fate." After discovering that King Danath Trollbane had gone missing en route to Hammerfall, Eitrigg dispatched Hammerfall Outriders to search for him.[9] However, with their disappearance, the human refugees, who were in reality Syndicate spies, attacked and seized Hammerfall from the Horde.[10]
At Geya'rah and Eitrigg's command, the Horde and their allies charged into Hammerfall, putting out the flames in the city, rescuing its citizens (including Drum), and striking against the Syndicate. The conflict ultimately ended with Hammerfall returned to Horde control.[11][12]
