Dreamform army

The dreamform army was a coalition of mortals fighting in the Emerald Dream against the Emerald Nightmare during the War Against the Nightmare. The host was created by Malfurion Stormrage and was led by Varian Wrynn and Baine Bloodhoof. Varian was guided by the spirit of Zaetar on Malfurion's orders.
They were assisted by other druids and woodlands creatures such as ancients, treants and the dryads, as well as avian creatures: gryphons, moths, carrion birds, dragonhawks, and the dragons of the red, green and blue dragonflights. Among other races that joined the fight but were not directly a part of Varian's force but herded into animal legions by the more sentient, reptilian raptors, were the kobolds, furbolgs and other wild animals such as panthers, boars, basilisks, crocolisks, and hyenas.[1]
