Doan Karhan is a human formerly located in a small camp east of the Ruins of Taurajo in the Southern Barrens. He owned the "Orb of Zargain", an orb similar to  [Orb of Soran'ruk]. He dedicated his life to the study of the Burning Legion's orbs and their recreation. Raszel Ander was supposedly a friend of his, but turned out to actually be the dreadlord Des'Altek. Des'Altek slew Doan's acolytes.

In the wake of the Cataclysm, he moved to the Alliance camp Forward Command in the Fields of Blood.

Forward Command was later abandoned, with Northwatch Hold and Fort Triumph destroyed by the Horde, leaving Doan's whereabouts unknown.
