Demonic Circle is a warlock class talent. It is automatically learned by all warlocks. It also grants the ability [Demonic Circle: Teleport].

Notes

One significant use for this spell is in boss fights where the boss casts a nova spell such as Morchok's Black Blood of the Earth. Demonic Circle can effectively be used to move out of range or LoS of the nova up to the last second, taking into account GCD, and allowing warlocks to continue DPS'ing at a point when all other party members are running away. This ability is also useful for use on "Hourglass Duty" on Murozond.
A second powerful use for this ability is in PvP, particularly arenas as the ability removes all snare affects and will move the warlock through walls or obstructions to the demonic circle.

Trivia

Demonic Circle is one of Gul'dan's activatable Talents in Heroes of the Storm. As in World of Warcraft, it consists of two spells, one for placing the Circle, the other for teleporting to it.

Patch changes

Hotfix (2022-11-21): Fixed an issue where Demonic Circle: Summon and Teleport would continually get added to the action bar between Specialization swapping.
Patch 10.0.0 (2022-10-25): Now a row 1 class talent (was a level 41 ability).
Hotfix (2021-09-13): Demonic Circle can no longer be placed with the [Kilrogg's Cunning] conduit while Eye of Kilrogg is off the ground.
Hotfix (2021-03-26): Demonic Circle will no longer be placed on a very long cooldown when interrupted and affected by a Death Knight's [Heartstop Aura] or [Delirium].

Patch 3.2.0 (2009-08-04): The visual for this spell should now despawn when the warlock dies or when the warlock otherwise loses the aura that allows transport to the circle.
Hotfix (2009-03-03): Demonic Circle will no longer allow you to teleport to a location within the sewer pipe in the Dalaran Arena and result in an error message instead.
Patch 3.0.8 (2009-01-20): The teleport now clears all snare effects. This does not include many freeze effects in boss fights.
