Deadsoul Hatcher is a Maw fog beast located in The Rift of Korthia near the Path of Understanding.

After reaching Tier 4 (honored) with the Archivists' Codex, purchase and use a  [Repaired Riftkey] at a Rift Portal to enter The Rift and interact with the hatcher.

Deadsoul Hatcher breaks into Korthia from the Rift! (zone-wide)

Be prepared to stay in combat with the hatcher before interacting with it, as it'll escape back to the Rift should it reset. Once it's in the normal phase, all players can defeat it.

Killing Deadsoul Hatcher awards 80 points of standing with Ve'nari, roughly 50 [Stygia], and 300 points of threat (30% of a level) of Eye of the Jailer. It also drops ~14x  [Relic Fragment], ~6x uncommon-quality anima items (30 anima),  [Stolen Korthian Supplies] and rarely the  [Girdle of the Deadsoul]. The fog beast also grants credit for  [Conquering Korthia] and  [60W] Shaping Fate

Abilities

•  Concealing Fog — Conceals fog around the caster, reducing damage taken by 50% for 8 sec.
•  Entropic Detonation — Disorients enemies within 12 yards of the caster for 4 sec. Inflicts 30 Shadow damage to enemies within 12 yards.
•  Rift Slam — Unleash an otherworldly slam from the Rift, stunning enemies on both sides of the veil.
•  Torturous Leer — Channels nightmare energy in front of the caster, inflicting 10 Shadow damage to nearby targets every 1 sec.
