Dawnstar Village is a blood elven village located on the Isle of Quel'Danas.
History
The Burning Crusade
During the Battle for Quel'Danas in 26 ADP, the village was inhabited by Prince Kael'thas Sunstrider's army of Dawnblade blood elves, while the surroundings were infested by wretched and demons of the Burning Legion. Magister Ilastar of the Shattered Sun Offensive regularly sent adventurers to kill the Dawnblade summoners, blood Knights, and marksmen there to reduce their numbers.[1]
Wrath of the Lich King
By the time of the Scourgewar in 27 ADP, an adventurer carrying the Battered Hilt of Quel'delar could pass through the village, which was back under the control of the kingdom of Quel'Thalas.[2]
