Greengill Coast
The Greengill Coast is a stretch of coast located on the southeastern part of the Isle of Quel'Danas. It is inhabited by the Greengill murlocs who have established a village there.
During the Battle for Quel'Danas in 26 ADP, the Darkspine naga attacked the murlocs and had them mind-controlled by Darkspine Sirens, who used them as slaves to dig up iron ore for the war effort of their Burning Legion allies. Interested in the excavated ore, the Shattered Sun Offensive sent the adventurers to kill the Darkspine naga and collect their resources for the Sun's Reach Armory.[1] Captain Valindria also tasked the heroes to free the Greengill murlocs by breaking the controlling orbs used by the naga.[2]
The Darkspines also built a shrine of Queen Azshara on a ley line south of the shoreline which Astromancer Darnarian wanted to be read with his crystal.[3]
