Consumption is a rare death elemental located in a small cave underneath the Seeker's Quorum in Korthia. This 
[Conquering Korthia]-required vignette is announced with a zone-wide yell when it spawns:
- Mawsworn Ruiner yells: Soon, it shall feed off the Maw Walkers!
The rare (level 61) version drops roughly 45 
[Stygia], 80 points of standing with Ve'nari, 11-16 
[Relic Fragment], 8-12 uncommon-quality anima items (40-60 anima).
The rare-elite (level 62) version drops roughly 75 Stygia, 100 points of standing with Ve'nari, 11-16 [Relic Fragment], 8-12 rare-quality anima items (280-420 anima), as well as a chance at 
[All-Consuming Loop], 
[Death-Enveloped Pauldrons], 
[Death-Enveloped Spires], and 
[Death-Enveloped Shoulder Spikes].
Either rare version is worth 5% progress toward 
[60W] Shaping Fate.
Abilities
Anima Gorged — Bloated on the anima of the deceased.
Deathbolt Rift — The caster opens a death rift, inflicting Shadow damage to nearby players every 1.5 sec for 6 sec.
Decaying Touch — Touches the enemy with a hand infused with shadow energy, inflicting Shadow damage and increasing damage taken by 25% for 8 sec.
Unstable Stygia — Inflicts Shadow damage to all enemies within 10 yards.
Stygian Rain — The caster causes shards of stygia to rain from the sky, inflicting 30 Shadow damage to all players within 7 yards of impact.
Vignette
Two Mawsworn Ruiners are guarding/watching it, and have some running commentary while waiting:
- Mawsworn Ruiner says: See it's getting larger!
- Mawsworn Ruiner says: It grows bigger off the anima from these rodents!
- Mawsworn Ruiner says: How much can it eat?
- Mawsworn Ruiner says: When it is large enough, if shall consume the Maw Walker!
When the elemental has had enough of eating the Terrified Gromits, it exits the cave and starts consuming the mawsworn!
- Mawsworn Ruiner says: No...not me!
It's at this point that Consumption gains a level (from 60 to 61), becomes a rare mob and will count for Conquering Korthia — don't attack it while it's still in the cave! If players don't engage it, it will continue to eat gromits, and eventually become a level 62 rare-elite and hit even harder. No need to wait for additional stacks once it hits the rare-elite stage.
Tracking quest
To check whether Consumpion was killed today, copy and paste this command into the chat window:
/run print(C_QuestLog.IsQuestFlaggedCompleted(64243))
If a "true" appears in the chat window, Consumpion was killed today; "false" indicates the opposite.
