Chain of Thrayn enhances 
[Avenging Wrath] and 
[Crusade].
For Holy it increases healing by 25%, for Protection and Retribution it increases by 50%.
Chain of Thrayn can drop from dungeon, raid, world bosses, rare elites on the Broken Isles and Argus, and Commanders at Invasion Points. The item is also found in world quest caches, PvP strongboxes, Mythic+ weekly caches, and 
[Blingtron 6000 Gift Package]. Lastly, it can also be discovered by using a Relinquished token purchased from Thaumaturge Vashreen.
Patch changes
Patch 7.3.0 (2017-08-29): Chain of Thrayn now correctly, additively stacks with [Crusade]. - Hotfix (2017-10-03): When Chain of Thrayn is unequipped, it cancels any active [Avenging Wrath] or [Crusade].
- Hotfix (2017-01-17): Damage bonus reduced from 20% to 10%.
- Patch 7.1.5 (2017-01-10): [Avenging Wrath] increases healing done by an additional 25% for Holy and 50% for Protection/Retribution and increases damage done by an additional 20%.
- Hotfix (2016-11-14): All Legion Legendary items have had their item level increased by 15. This change will be applied retroactively.
