Captain Taldar Windsinger commanded the Moonspray, the boat that ran between Auberdine and Rut'theran Village, welcoming the adventurer aboard, and hoping to take advantage of the provisions provided.

Later, Taldar and his ship carried Maiev Shadowsong and her army to Ashenvale to begin the campaign to retake Darkshore. Afterward, he was present on the ship that brought adventurers to the Battle for Darkshore, landing near the Ruins of Auberdine.

This section concerns content related to Dragonflight.

Years later, Taldar, now the harbor master, was seen speaking with Captain Talar Oaktalon in Belanaar in Amirdrassil. After Talar left to captain Moonlit Rose, Taldar can be seen speaking with Captain Idrilae.

• During the testing of patch 2.3.0, he was PvP-flagged, however this is no longer the case. He can no longer be killed.
• He, Captain Idrilae, and Captain Galind Windsword were the only level 70 captains in WoW. All three just happen to be night elves.
