Calder Gray is a really insane Forsaken found in Desolation Hold in the Southern Barrens, where he with the help of the Horde adventurer created Gray's Abomination from various corpses. He is also seen in Twilight Highlands, where his creation is one of the matches of the Crucible of Carnage. Calder Gray had been unceremoniously booted from Orgrimmar, hauled through the main gates. Unknown exactly why, it's likely to do with his... "research".

He was later found assisting the adventurers in Sethria's Roost in Mount Hyjal during the Firelands Invasion.

During the invasion of Draenor, he became available as a follower in commander's Garrison, where his Alliance counterpart is Draeken Nightspear.

In combat:

• Fire and rocks don't really do anything for me. I'm really more of a flesh man.
• You know the worst thing about fire creatures? No harvestable organs.
• There's really nothing I enjoy more than the sound of screaming victims. Especially if they're MY victims.

• I really should be going. All this killing reminded me I still have some fresh corpses that aren't sewn to one another.
