Burrian Coalpart is a Dark Iron dwarf found at Thorium Advance in Searing Gorge.

Burrian is a miner and lacks fighting skills, so he asked adventurers to kill some Dark Iron geologists and watchmen before the war started in earnest.[2] Burrian had lost his brother, [[Barnabas], to the thunder lizard Margol the Rager and wanted him dead, so the adventurer brought Burrian Margol's horn.[3] The Brotherhood brought wild game to the Gorge, but the food for them was scarce. Nearby spiders began eating chickens, so Burrian requested to rescue them and bring them back to him, after which he made sure they wouldn't go to waste.[4]

He later traveled to Draenor where he, Scorchbrow, and Hansel Heavyhands were to find some artifacts from the botani in Gorgrond. He and Scorchbrow went to collect water the artifact was running on, only to fail.[5] He was captured by the botani who fed him fruit. He was rescued from the Evermorn Springs by the Alliance adventurer[6] who helped him to gain revenge by killing infested ogron,[7] burning bodies to prevent more infested creatures,[8] and killing the botani themselves.[9] He then asked the hero to obtain the water he was originally supposed to get.[5] Afterward, he reunited with Thaelin Darkanvil in Deeproot and gave him coordinates to Moira's Reach.[10] He eventually helped him and Hansel on loading the cannon for Iyu.[11]

Gossip

Searing Gorge

Ever heard of the Thorium Brotherhood? Sure, we might look a lot like those dwarves down in the gorge, or in Blackrock Depths, but trust me: we're not anything like them.

Those scoundrels dug too deep, and now they serve a darker force: Ragnaros, the Firelord. We're happy to be more independent of will and purpose, although most of the time our purpose ends up being the prevention of whatever trouble they're causing.

Dark Iron Down

We were lookin' for something to help fight goren and I got separated.

Then these botani lads showed up and just started feeding me berries, mead, honey.

I swear I've gained twenty pounds at least since I got here.

Post-Dark Iron Down

I canna' believe them botani were fattening me up just to mulch me.

I may not be a farmer but I gotta expect there are more optimal ways to feed a plant.
