Booms is an elite Forsaken mob found on the southwestern side of Unga Ingoo, Krasarang Wilds. Booms commands the powers of a shadow priest and is hostile to players of both factions.
Abilities
Mind Control — Takes control of the enemy target. Lasts 10 sec. 1.5 sec cast. 55 yard range.
Mind Flay — Inflicts Shadow damage to an enemy and reduces its movement speed for 3 sec. Channeled. 20 yard range.
Shadow Word: Pain — Utters a word of darkness, inflicting Shadow damage to an enemy every 3 sec. for 15 sec. Instant. 30 yard range.

Trivia
The inspiration for this character may come from a notorious player who became well-known on the US-Stonemaul server in the early days of WoW. The forsaken Shadow priest, also named 'Booms', was known for terrorizing Alliance players passing through Menethil Harbor by using his [Mind Control] to extort gold from them. At that time, Mind Control had a 1-minute duration, and diminishing returns had yet to be added to the game. Booms would use this to hold Alliance players to ransom, demanding that they pay a toll to his Alliance alt Boomsbot before he would release them. In 2011, the original player of Booms passed away from heart complications, so this NPC was created as an in-game memorial for him.
