Lieutenant Blake Godwyn was the scion of a noble family who sponsored the Old Monastery in Lordaeron. He himself served as archivist there until the First War, where he traveled south to aid Stormwind against the Orcish Horde.[1] He died fighting against the orcs in the Swamp of Sorrows, near the outpost of Kyross. His ancestral sword, thought to be lost, was eventually retrieved and found its way back to the Scarlet Monastery.[2]
