Tips and tactics

Patch 7.0.3 (2016-07-19): Redesigned as a [Cat Form]-only ability.
Patch 5.0.4 (2012-08-28): Now a level 48 Feral and Guardian specialization ability (was a tier 7 Feral Combat talent). No longer gives [Lacerate] a chance to refresh the cooldown of [Mangle (Bear)] and make it cost no Rage. Duration of [Bear Form] effect reduced from 15 to 10 sec.
Patch 4.1.0 (2011-04-26): No longer on the global cooldown.
Patch 4.0.6 (2011-02-08): Berserk now has a new Spell Alert identifier. In addition, Berserk no longer breaks Fear or makes the druid immune to Fear.
Patch 4.0.1 (2010-10-12): Moved from tier 11 to tier 7. Now also gives your Lacerate periodic damage has a 30% chance to refresh the cooldown of your Mangle (Bear) ability and make it cost no rage.
Patch 3.0.3 (2008-11-04): Now clears the cooldown on Mangle (Bear).
