On accept, an in-engine cinematic plays:
- Tess Greymane walks outside of the Light's Dawn Cathedral to take in the 7th Legion forces calming down after the battle. She looks up to focus on the flag of Gilneas for a moment. She hears Genn Greymane sigh heavily off to the side.
- Princess Tess Greymane says: You're thinking of Liam again, aren't you.
- Genn pauses for a beat before chuckling, then turns around to look at Tess.
- Genn Greymane says: You always could see right through me.
- Princess Tess Greymane says: You never really healed after you lost him. After you lost Gilneas.
- Genn looks away.
- Genn Greymane says: Oh Tess, I--
- Princess Tess Greymane says: I see you, Father. Always hiding from your pain.
- Genn closes his eyes before Tess walks away, looking at Greymane Wall.
- Princess Tess Greymane says: It's why you built that wall in the first place. And why you took Anduin under your wing.
- She turns around to face Genn.
- Princess Tess Greymane says: But I have always been here... For you. Even if you've never noticed.
- Genn sighs and walks closer to Tess.
- Genn Greymane says: I know. And... I'm sorry.
- Genn glances away, spotting Calia Menethil speaking with Gilnean citizens.
- Genn Greymane says: The world is changing, Tess. And much as I try, I find it hard to change with it.
- He looks to Tess again.
- Genn Greymane says: But you have proven yourself a thousand times over, my girl. And this kingdom... now belongs to you.
- Tess shakes her head in confusion.
- Princess Tess Greymane says: Father, I... I...
- Genn Greymane says: You--you have always been what makes Gilneas truly special to me. And I should have told you that. Every day.
- Tess walks up and hugs her father.
- Princess Tess Greymane says: I wish I could take your pain away.
- Genn Greymane says: Only time will do that, my dear.
- They let go of the hug, but Genn is still holding Tess's hands.
- Genn Greymane says: But we have time, now. Thanks to you.
- He holds her shoulder as they turn to face the courtyard.

- Princess Tess Greymane says: Aren't you going to stay and celebrate, Father?
- Genn Greymane says: In due time. First, there is someone I need to visit.
- Genn walks off.
