Beggar's Haunt.

Beggar's Haunt is an abandoned scout tower of the Stormwind Guard located in northeastern Duskwood, east of Manor Mistmantle and north of the road that leads into Deadwind Pass. It was once used by the Forsaken to conduct experiments, but now serves as a home to Abercrombie after Deathstalker Zraedus and Apothecary Faustin were killed or left.

A twisting path leads from the tower to a small pool and waterfall, near which rests an unmarked grave with two large statues similar to the ones on the Dark Portal (See Knight's Hollow). Near the tower is another small cemetery with the Unknown Soldier.

Notes

Before the Cataclysm, the tower was Horde-aligned and held two agents of the Forsaken - Deathstalker Zraedus and a member of the Royal Apothecary Society named Apothecary Faustin. Both were level 40 and often attacked approaching Alliance players that explored a little to close and only being around 20 - 30.

Patch changes

  • Cata-Logo-Small.png Patch 4.0.3a (2010-11-23): Horde-Aligned PvP Mobs removed, Abercrombie moved from Raven Hill Cemetery.
