Zur'ak Firefist is a troll shaman of the Earthen Ring and a member of its Elder Council. He believed that the elements had abandoned the Earthen Ring. Zur'ak alongside Kettara Bloodthirst, Krelna, Lenka, were waiting for a meeting with Drek'Thar. After the meeting, he alongside his master and colleagues noticed a fire in Camp Narache. He battled against the fire and centaur but the shaman were forced to retreat to Bloodhoof Village. There the shaman, especially Zur'ak, talked about how elements abandoned them. However a runner from Narache approached them, telling that the threat was over. Back in the camp, he witnessed Shotoa's power and chose to follow Shotoa's teachings like many other members of the Earthen Ring. After Shotoa's betrayal he along with the other members of the Earthen Ring battled the elementals of Shotoa and his Grimtotem allies, and in the end they managed to defeat Shotoa.
