Zelfrax is a demon[1] resembling a gargoyle that has taken over Witch Hill in Dustwallow Marsh, has risen the dead, and is driving "Swamp Eye" Jarl mad.
Its death is the objective of 
[15-30] Cleansing Witch Hill.

It is unlikely that Zelfrax is actually a gargoyle seeing as they are native creatures to Northrend and not demons. He may be a felbat.
