Zekvir is a nerubian hulk boss found in Zekvir's Lair. He also has a chance to ambush adventurers during a normal delve. While in an encounter with other mobs in a delve, a message Zekvir has breached the Delve! will appear with Zekvir joining in on the fight. During this time, getting Zekvir to 50% health or lower will cause him to burrow and leave behind a Hulking Raptorial Claw otherwise, killing all adventurers will promptly have him leave the delve with no reward left behind.[1]
Abilities
- Claw Smash — Inflicts Physical damage in a cone in front of the caster.
- Angler's Web — Fires out webs in front of the caster, grabbing enemies and pulling them in. Targets pulled are then crushed, suffering X Nature damage.
- Call Web Terror — Summons an Egg Cocoon.
- Egg Cocoon – Hatching... — The egg hatches into a Web Terror.
- Web Terror – Web Blast — Blasts all enemies with webbing, inflicting Nature damage and stunning them for 6 sec.
- Enfeebling Spittle — Spits a glob of acid at a target, inflicting Nature damage every 1 sec and reducing their movement speed by 40% for 20 sec.
- Horrendous Roar — Releases a mighty roar, inflicting Shadow damage and causing enemies within 15 yards to flee in fear for 4 sec.

- Phase 1
- Claw Smash — Cast time reduced from 2.25s to 1.5s.
- Angler's Web — Cast time reduced from 2.5s to 1.5s.

- Egg Cocoon – Hatching... — The egg hatches into a Web Terror.
- Web Terror – Web Blast — Blasts all enemies with webbing, inflicting Nature damage and stunning them for 6 sec.

- Horrendous Roar — Cast time reduced from 2.5s to 1.5s.
- Regenerating Carapace — Heals the caster for 10% of their maximum health.
- Phase 2
This phase starts when Zekvir is at 60% health for 10 seconds then it goes to Phase 3. In this phase, Zekvir will run to the center of the area and start casting:
- Black Blood — Black blood infused the caster, reducing damage taken by 99%.
- Phase 3
In this phase, a new ability is introduced in addition to the Phase 1 abilities and two abilities are switched:
- Unending Spines — Tears open rifts, impaling enemies and inflicting Nature damage to those struck.
- Blood-Infused Carapace — Heals the caster for 25% of their maximum health. (replaces Regenerating Carapace)
- Infinite Horror — Releases cosmic energy, inflicting Shadow damage and causing enemies struck to flee in fear for[sic] until canceled. (replaces Horrendous Roar, this fear lasts forever and must be avoided)

Trivia
- Zekvir ambushing a random delve is a reference to the Butcher from Diablo IV where he has a chance to spawn and ambush a player in a "Nightmare Dungeon".
