A Vicious Saddle is rewarded each time the Rated PvP progress bar is filled to 100% after the current seasonal mount has been earned. They are used to purchase vicious mounts from previous expansions.

As currency

These mounts can be purchased for 1 Vicious Saddle each, from  Necrolord Sipe in Old Town in Stormwind City or from  Deathguard Netharian in the Valley of Strength in Orgrimmar.

Notes

• Each expansion's vicious mounts get added to the Vicious Saddle vendors near the start of the next expansion. For example, all of the vicious mounts from Shadowlands became purchasable in Dragonflight.

Patch changes

• Patch 8.0.1 (2018-07-17): Now obtained by filling the Rated PvP progress bar more than once within a season (was previously granted by seasonal achievements such as  [Grievous Combatant]). As a result, a single character can now obtain multiple Vicious Saddles each season.
