While replacing images, please mark the old ones with {{speedydelete}} so they don't remain in the database unused. Thank you and keep up the good work. :) Snake.gifSssssssssssssssssssssssss Coobra sig3.gifFor Pony! (Sssss/Slithered) 16:46, 18 April 2016 (UTC)

Sorry about that. These new maps sure are beautiful, eh? ^^ Xporc (talk) 16:52, 18 April 2016 (UTC)
No worries, just wanted to let you know about it since its not something we ever think about. Hello! I would please like to know where your nickname comes from! Thanks in advance.--KIROCHI) 14:01, 5 May 2016 (UTC)

Identifying buildings

See?

I appreciate what you are doing, but you seem to be using some unnecessary guesswork. While any building can be used for any purpose, they all have actual model names based on what they were initially conceived for. Try finding a model viewer that works. It might help.--SWM2448 22:20, 21 May 2016 (UTC)

Well now I feel silly. Thanks for the tip, what kind of model viewer are you using? Xporc (talk) 22:37, 21 May 2016 (UTC)
One that can not actually view Warcraft Map Objects anymore. Sorry. :/ --SWM2448 23:04, 21 May 2016 (UTC)
This one works, but is still shady as hell. I am not endorsing it. I am just saying that it might work if you are curious. Keeps are barracks are still interchangeable.--SWM2448 23:29, 22 May 2016 (UTC)
Thanks. Xporc (talk) 07:07, 23 May 2016 (UTC)

Image requests

Please note if a NPC is found in a zone its image request needs to be associated with that zone. Even if the NPCs only appear for a short time for an event. All those NPCs you're changing from Durotar to The Broken Shore needs to be changed back to Durotar. Snake.gifSssssssssssssssssssssssss Coobra sig3.gifFor Pony! Image updates

If an image isn't updating, you don't need to re-upload it with a new filename. Just wait awhile; it's a caching issue that will eventually resolve itself. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 20:03, 15 November 2016 (UTC)

Sometimes it doesn't work even after 48h, but I'll keep in mind to wait a bit longer then. thanks Xporc (talk) 20:06, 15 November 2016 (UTC)
Yeah, it's really annoying and doesn't always update quickly, but it's always done so eventually. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 20:10, 15 November 2016 (UTC)

Ship names

Hey. The ships here (Dimensional ship) are not written in italics. Would you have more info about that rule ? --ShellShockLive (talk) 17:22, 22 November 2016 (UTC)

Hi! I'm not a native english speaker so I may be wrong, but I think it's a grammar convention that boat and ship names should be both capitalized and italicized. Here are some links I found on the topic: https://www.grammarly.com/handbook/mechanics/italics-and-underlining/2/italics-and-underlining-names-of-spacecraft-aircra/ http://navalmarinearchive.com/research/ship_names.html, http://www.chicagomanualofstyle.org/qanda/data/faq/topics/ProperNames.html?page=2 Xporc (talk) 17:32, 22 November 2016 (UTC)
It seems like you are right, however this has never been the case on wowpedia and I'm not sure it's worth it to change every single ship name there is on the website. Starting to change only the new ones (such as the Fel Hammer) too while leaving past occurences as they are would be confusing. --ShellShockLive (talk) 17:47, 22 November 2016 (UTC)
It actually is the case on wowpedia though, at least for normal seafaring vessels and even flying gunships: Boat#Named_vessels, Gunship#Known_gunships. They're all italicized. Anyway, I don't have a strong opinion toward spaceships like the Fel Hammer and the Exodar. Xporc (talk) 17:57, 22 November 2016 (UTC)
I was talking about space ships ! ShellShockLive (talk) 19:24, 22 November 2016 (UTC)
Ships are ships, whether they move through water, space, or the Twisting Nether. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 19:27, 22 November 2016 (UTC)
Then explain this Dimensional ship. I'm not saying they should not be in italics, I'm not against it, I'm saying they weren't until now so, should we change that ? ShellShockLive (talk) 19:30, 22 November 2016 (UTC)
Presumably the question was simply not ever raised Xporc (talk) 19:34, 22 November 2016 (UTC)
For pages on the wiki, you can link them with [[ ]] brackets instead of using the URL. Regarding naaru Dimensional Ships in particular, I could see the argument being made for them being a special case. They're not really vessels that physically move through space; rather, they typically teleport directly between worlds. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 19:40, 22 November 2016 (UTC)

The Burning Legion destroys life or planets?

Page number

I got the information from a pdf version and so I don't know exactly the number of the page that displays that information. You can check it out though, if you'd like.--VisionOfPerfection (talk) 21:26, 21 January 2017 (UTC)VisionOfPerfection

I'd say about 82 or 83 but I'm bothered the exact page can't be pintpointed ... Xporc (talk) 22:08, 21 January 2017 (UTC)

Incubus

Hey, I re-added the Incubus into the table before seeing your comment. It is true that they have never been seen, but they still exist and are still part of the Burning Legion ; since that section was about listing all existing demon races, then they should be there I believe. -- MyMindWontQuiet (talk) 12:53, 25 January 2017 (UTC)

Okay, it's your call. I'm just not sure it's worth it to mention them here since I'm starting to doubt they exist, but I don't mind either. Xporc (talk) 12:56, 25 January 2017 (UTC)
Just curious, what makes you think that ? They were both mentioned in novels and by the CDevs, only their fate is uncertain (are they slaves?), not their existence. -- MyMindWontQuiet (talk) 12:59, 25 January 2017 (UTC)
Well the only canon mention about them so far is in The Last Guardian, an old-ass book that's been retconed to hell and back, and Blizzard's comments about their fate sounded more like cheeky jokes than true historical facts. Xporc (talk) 13:04, 25 January 2017 (UTC)
Well the thing is that until there is a direct contradiction with these, that one mention is still canon. -- MyMindWontQuiet (talk) 13:16, 25 January 2017 (UTC)
Well on 2 of the 3 explanations given by Blizzard, it's explicitly told that incubi are either all dead or can't leave their planet. That's already in contradiction with The Last Guardian, which mentions them having been seen present-day. I'm not saying they don't exist, I'm just saying that at this point we shouldn't do like VisionOfPerfection and push old lore into everyone's faces ;D Xporc (talk) 13:25, 25 January 2017 (UTC)
Technically the CDev post was about present times while the mention in the novel was from years back so they don't necessarily contradict each other, but I agree that it's fuzzy. -- MyMindWontQuiet (talk) 13:37, 25 January 2017 (UTC)

Ice

Hi, is there a reason for the wolf named Ice to include (wolf) in the page's name? --Mordecay (talk) 21:09, 29 January 2017 (UTC)

Because I'm tired of people wanting to like to Ice as an element and linking to an unrelated movie-verse wolf instead :( Xporc (talk) 21:11, 29 January 2017 (UTC)
As in Ice elemental or just Ice? --Mordecay (talk) 21:18, 29 January 2017 (UTC)
Just Ice. Several texts, like the story of Kel'thuzad, or the description of mages power, linked there while trying to speak about ice as elemental magic. Xporc (talk) 21:22, 29 January 2017 (UTC)
I imagine that those were actions of the past, and that it is no longer the case? --Mordecay (talk) 21:34, 29 January 2017 (UTC)
I edited all the pages that linked to Ice, yeah. Xporc (talk) 21:36, 29 January 2017 (UTC)

Iron dwarf

You tried.--SWM2448 22:23, 9 February 2017 (UTC)

That's okay, I'm patient Xporc (talk) 22:24, 9 February 2017 (UTC)

I was wondering...

Is there a page with nearly all of the wiki formatting in it? For uh, noobs like me? I'm awful when it comes to finding out all the possible ways of making a page look nicer (for example, my own user page). Nor have I any idea of how to look up the specific things I want to add, and trying to surf other user pages' source for "help" doesn't really help a lot, is more confusing... So, was curious if there's a place with most of it documented, rather than spread out. WarGodZajru (talk) 20:47, 2 March 2017 (UTC)

To be perfectly honest, I'm here since less than a year and I wondered the same thing back then. Mostly learned by copy-pasting from others :D Don't worry, you won't be "perfect" for a time, and then it will come naturally. Just observe how other articles and pages are made. BTW, thanks for your work! Xporc (talk) 21:03, 2 March 2017 (UTC)
Oh, haha. Well, glad I'm uh.. not the only one, not that I thought I was but y'know... Thanks for the advice, though, I'll definitely do that. c:
And of course, I'm happy to help! Plus, thank you in return for correcting the mistakes I've been making around the place. Not always easy being the noob. ;p WarGodZajru (talk) 22:40, 2 March 2017 (UTC)
Don't worry. "Encouraging boldness" and "welcoming new users" are two core tenets of a wiki. Xporc (talk) 21:23, 2 March 2017 (UTC)
Oh, definitely. c:
Hm.. is there a way to manually insert a "contents" drop down? Some places could need one, such as this RaceIcon page. WarGodZajru (talk) 21:48, 2 March 2017 (UTC)
Uh ... Guess not, but it's possible it exists somewhere Xporc (talk) 21:53, 2 March 2017 (UTC)
Welp, da's a bummer. Maybe something to consider adding as a template? Not sure if that would mess up how it currently works. I believe there has to be X amount of Header 2's on the page for a content list to be automatically created. As far as I know by now. WarGodZajru (talk) 21:56, 2 March 2017 (UTC)
__TOC__ will force a table of contents to display, but it won't work on that page because there's only one header; the items are all in a bulleted list. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 22:07, 2 March 2017 (UTC)
Oh, thanks, will keep that in mind. c: WarGodZajru (talk) 22:10, 2 March 2017 (UTC)
So that's what __TOC__ means! I though the only way to create a TOC was to use {{tochere}} or its variant Xporc (talk) 22:12, 2 March 2017 (UTC)
Looks like we both learnt something today, haha. Though I do have a couple of additional questions.
1): Can either of you see my user page? I edited it a few days ago, and apparently a friend cannot see it, it shows up as a blank page for him, but not for me. :c
2): Is it allowed to add purely fan-fiction pages for example, a headcanon loa? My argument for that being, in lore, there are hundreds of unnamed loa, for example, Gonk isn't the only raptor loa, thus, making one, or a few headcanon raptor loa and listing them as headcanon/fanfiction for people to have some (non-canon ofc) more variety when choosing a loa, or several for roleplay. Just an idea I had, figured I'd ask about it first. WarGodZajru (talk) 22:40, 2 March 2017 (UTC)
Yeah I can see your user page, no problem. You can add fanfiction pages as long as you keep it strictly separated from the official ones. See Category:Fan fiction. Xporc (talk) 09:09, 3 March 2017 (UTC)
You can add whatever fanfiction you want so long as it's a subpage of your user page and not in the main namespace (e.g. User:Dark_T_Zeratul/For Quel'Thalas). -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 10:18, 3 March 2017 (UTC)
Oh, good to hear. And aah, gotcha, I'll try and figure that subpage thing out... Thanks! :D WarGodZajru (talk) 12:43, 3 March 2017 (UTC)

Another question...

I hope I'm not spamming you now but uh, do you know if it's possible to make an NPCbox be located on the left side of a page? And if that's not possible, is there any way to make a box similar to the NPCbox, that I can position on the left? I'd rather not stack up 20 npc boxes on the right side of my user page for characters... Not that I'm planning to.. but as an example, of course. :p WarGodZajru (talk) 21:02, 3 March 2017 (UTC)

Don't think it's possible. Xporc (talk) 21:04, 3 March 2017 (UTC)
Is this for a personal project or a page?--SWM2448 21:05, 3 March 2017 (UTC)
Owch..
And it's for a personal page, my user page where I have links to all my pages and stuff. WarGodZajru (talk) 21:07, 3 March 2017 (UTC)

Spelling

Hey, just wanted to tell you that these super weird spelling mistakes that you might are not done on purpose, the issue is with the live editor. I've witnessed it a few times, occasionnally it just swaps up all/many letters or entire words and you need to correct them, which I usually do. However, sometimes, it does so when you click the "Save" button and thus you don't get to see the mistakes. Thanks for correcting them. -- MyMindWontQuiet (talk) 23:16, 3 March 2017 (UTC)

Yeah I know, don't worry. But I always re-read myself after I saved a page to make sure I didn't add too much typos! Xporc (talk) 23:20, 3 March 2017 (UTC)
Yeah I do too when I actually write stuff, not as much when I just move little things around or when I'm in a hurry, you don't expect the copy-pasted stuff to suddenly turn into an ugly soup of letters. -- MyMindWontQuiet (talk) 23:29, 3 March 2017 (UTC)

Datamined or unreleased assets

I am sorry, but those screenshots crossed a line. You can talk about them, but unless a character can find them under normal conditions in a public client they can not be posted. Blizzard's rule. See Project:DUC.--SWM2448 21:07, 4 March 2017 (UTC)

Yes, I apologize. Spent nearly a month on this article, I'm getting a bit too ... obsessed about the topic, I guess. Xporc (talk) 21:16, 4 March 2017 (UTC)

Projections

Hey, I saw you adding the projections category to the Vision of Purity and was reminded of a thought I had a while back. Do you think NPC projections/visions etc. should be in both the projection category along with the other categories of that character such as race, class and organization? Maybe just projections and race, or only projections? I personally lean towards just projections, but again this is not a point that I have a strong opinion on. I don't really mind including both projection and character race either. I don't think the organizations and classes of the character should appear on the projection pages, but as always it's nice with input on stuff like this. What is your take on this? PeterWind (talk) 07:54, 8 March 2017 (UTC)

Heya man! IMO it depends heavily on what the vision actually does. If it's a vision of a naaru, then "projection" and "naaru" seems good as categories. If it's a vision of bolvar fordragon, then "projection" and "human" seems enough. Now, if it was an anonymous paladin instead of bolvar, I'd say also adding "paladin characters" to the categories would be required. That way people looking for a list of all paladins would also be able to find the vision. But since Bolvar is already listed as a paladin character, it's not necessary to tag his vision as a paladin too. Well at least that's what I think, and I have no strong opinion either ... Xporc (talk) 08:29, 8 March 2017 (UTC)
Oh yeah that's a good point on those unnamed visions. I had not considdered those. PeterWind (talk) 16:44, 9 March 2017 (UTC)

A short and simple comment regarding Xporc welcoming me.

I don't know whether that welcome message was automated or not, because I noticed the same message on your user page, but the sentiment is appreciated all the same. Here's to be a Wowpedian! —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Whirrtere (talk · contr).

It's half-half. Posting the message isn't automated, I'm not a bot, but the message itself has been transformed into a macro to keep it easier to welcome new people. Welcome! Xporc (talk) 15:23, 13 March 2017 (UTC)

Languages

Hey, I have no idea what happened with those language tags at the bottom, I didn't even touch them. I believe the live editor did this, not the first time it modifies something else entirely. -- MyMindWontQuiet (talk) 22:15, 23 March 2017 (UTC)

Yeah, I think it is that ... Still, could you try to, once you commit a change, re-read it again in the "Recent changes" or "Watchlist" pages in order to eventually spot and fix such problems? Xporc (talk) 22:33, 23 March 2017 (UTC)
I usually do but in that case I just changed a handful of words from present to past tense, couldn't expect the whole language stuff at the bottom to freak out for some reason! Do you use the live editor too? -- MyMindWontQuiet (talk) 22:42, 23 March 2017 (UTC)
Nope, never. I'm a software engineer so I only trust the "source code" I write by hand :D Xporc (talk) 22:44, 23 March 2017 (UTC)

Forsaken into Undead icons

Happy birthday to me

Well, according to this thing, I've been working on the wiki for exactly a year. It's been a wild ride, and I'm extremely proud of the work I did on Warcraft I, Warcraft II and Warcraft Adventures. Wish I could have gotten started on Warcraft III already but man, what a time-consuming hobby. When I started I only intended to fix some typographic errors, and here I am being completely addicted to this stuff. Let's hope the WoW servers will still be up for a long time, and the websites I use as references don't die before I can process them properly, because there's still a lot of work to do.

I have the utmost respect for everyone here. Love working with all of you guys! Xporc (talk) 15:42, 2 April 2017 (UTC)

Congratulations! Yeah you've sure managed to keep yourself busy :) PeterWind (talk) 19:26, 2 April 2017 (UTC)

Thanks.--SWM2448 19:56, 2 April 2017 (UTC)

Thanks to everyone! Sorry for being so sappy, but sadly I think wikis lack tools to convey approval toward other users' edits, so I tend to exaggerate a little bit here. Wish there was a "Like" button when I see people doing an amazing job. Xporc (talk) 21:56, 2 April 2017 (UTC)
Right? I wish there was a way to commend people. I for example feel like a dick for putting {{fact}} tags sometimes and when someone actually comes and gives a source there's no way to thank them. DeludedTroll's work on the Ogre page or yours on the WoW Evolution Guide article also come to mind. -- MyMindWontQuiet (talk) 22:01, 2 April 2017 (UTC)
On the topic of social improvements, yeah, I agree, would be nice to be able to show approval of edits. Not to mention, would be nice with a notification system too, for when people mention your name in talk pages so yu dun miss that stuff. You never know. And also.. PMs, for those of us who're not always brave enough to clog someone's talk page up, hueh. c': WarGodZajru (talk) 00:06, 3 April 2017 (UTC)
> "a notification system too, for when people mention your name in talk pages" Isn't that already in place? I thought that if I wrote WarGodZajru you'd be notified about me speaking about you. Xporc (talk) 07:07, 3 April 2017 (UTC)
I was told there weren't one, you proved that wrong tho. Woke up with a notification. I felt speciulh. :') WarGodZajru (talk) 12:46, 3 April 2017 (UTC)

Trip to Japan

Hello guys. I am not sure where to write this, but I guess my user page is as good a choice as any. User:Mordecay, User:PeterWind, User:DeludedTroll, User:MyMindWontQuiet, I know you guys work good and I enjoy working with you, so I'll even ping you up to make sure you read this!

In a week from now, I'll be going to Japan for almost a month. My internet access will be limited, and of course I'll probably get kinda busy doing tourist things, so all of my current work (Warcraft III pages, etc.) will be halted during that time. You'll also have one less extra pair of eyes watching over the "Recent changes" page. I usually spend all day watching over those, so I'd appreciate if you guys could make sure to do it too while I'm away.

Here are some random more stuff:

  • There's this weird Narboll guy that seems absolutely in love with the Arthas Menethil, Anub'arak and Kel'Thuzad articles, to the point of creating new friggin alt accounts every days in order to edit them. Normally I wouldn't care too much about the weird behavior, but he's also fond of deleting random bit of trivia in order to streamline articles, to the point that he once tried to remove whole paragraphs of the Warcraft III missions pages. So yeah, if you could try to keep watch over any suspicious account editing those articles, their names are usually 8-or-so long and following similar patterns. Like, just for today, Vorollon, Vollonor‎, Norgollos‎, Xekonot‎, Eronolla‎, they're all the same guy behind the accounts and he already did like 10 minor edits to the Arthas page. He also tried to change the race of Kel'thuzad to make it Human instead of Lich. I can't even.
  • MyMindWontQuiet, you're a good editor but don't let yourself get tricked by the visual editing tool. Even if you think your work is good (and it is), remember that the visual editor can still add "nowiki" tags and mess up the localization categories. So please my man, check your own edits after having committed them to the site.
  • I created a section on my user page so that I can, if I eventually get a few hours of Internet during my stay in Japan, put pages there that I want to read over when I'm back home. So if you see me adding your work there it's not because I don't trust you guys, it's because I don't want to miss any new added goodness to the wiki, like DeludedTroll's articles about orc clans. I love reading them! Oh, by the way, if you guys start doing massive overhauls to the RTS-related pages, I'd appreciate you could leave a few words about it on my user page so I'm not too lost when I get back.

Well this was longer than I thought, and possibly a bit awkward. Xporc (talk) 15:01, 24 April 2017 (UTC)

Narboll should face some consequences, it's one thing making mistakes, it's another to keep making them again and again without ever justifying one's actions and ignoring all attempts at communication.
Anyway have a nice trip! And enjoy. Perhaps you'll meet Matt Burns since he seems to be in Japan currently lol. We'll try to take care of this. -- MyMindWontQuiet (talk) 15:17, 24 April 2017 (UTC)
Arigatou gozaimasu~ As I said above in my "birthday" message, I love working with you all, and believe it or not but you guys are the thing I'll miss the most lol Xporc (talk) 15:25, 24 April 2017 (UTC)
Awww, I am first! Enjoy your trip, mate! Don't worry, I always check almost all recent changes by the end of the working week with an extra care for characters and NPCs (so Narbolls, fear me when I get to checking them! :D) --Mordecay (talk) 16:17, 24 April 2017 (UTC)
Thanks! Xporc (talk) 17:50, 24 April 2017 (UTC)

I just banned 10 more Narbolls. Feel free to find and undo their edits.--SWM2448 17:44, 24 April 2017 (UTC)

Hey I just had an idea. Deathwing's page has been locked so that only registered users with accounts older than four days can edit it. Maybe we could similarly lock the Arthas/Kel'Thuzad/Anub'Arak pages? I mean, Narboll pretty much only edits those nowadays. Xporc (talk) 17:50, 24 April 2017 (UTC)

Thanks for the kind words! I really appreciate it. I don't really check RecentChanges nowadays, but I trust Mordecay and MyMindWontQuiet will keep an eye on that front. Anyhow, enjoy your trip! -- IconSmall TrollDeathKnight Male.gif DeludedTroll (talkcontribs) 06:05, 25 April 2017 (UTC)

Have a safe trip, and enjoy your time over there! I'll be keeping an eye on the recent changes, as I always strive to, but of course that job will be easier aswell while you're away ;) PeterWind (talk) 06:16, 25 April 2017 (UTC)
You still have a few days of me going around, but I'll try not to overwhelm the Recent Changes with my crap in the meantime :p Xporc (talk) 07:21, 25 April 2017 (UTC)
I'm just kidding, but who knows! Maybe I'll even get some work done on my other wiki project for once! PeterWind (talk) 10:21, 25 April 2017 (UTC)

Okay, here I go now! Too bad Matt Burns isn't in Japan anymore, he said he'd have gladly met me if he was still there... Take care, everyone. Xporc (talk) 21:56, 1 May 2017 (UTC)

Godspeed. PeterWind (talk) 01:15, 2 May 2017 (UTC)

Well, glad to be home, everyone! Let's have a nice and productive year together now. Xporc (talk) 12:55, 21 May 2017 (UTC)

Welcome back! PeterWind (talk) 14:25, 21 May 2017 (UTC)
Hope you had fun! -- MyMindWontQuiet (talk) 14:38, 21 May 2017 (UTC)

About over-citing

What do you think of the present state of First War? --ShadowShade81413 (talk) 17:25, 28 April 2017 (UTC)

Oh, my... Well, it seems over-citing to me. What do you think yourself? Xporc (talk) 17:27, 28 April 2017 (UTC)
Seems alright to me. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 17:33, 28 April 2017 (UTC)
I don't think really needed to cite 3 times the same page in 3 separate references, for example. A lot of these references could be merged into a single one. Xporc (talk) 17:40, 28 April 2017 (UTC)
Oh, yes, that's absolutely true. Any time the same source is used multiple times it should be combined with the <ref name> tag. I thought he just meant there were too many citations in the article overall. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 17:45, 28 April 2017 (UTC)
I think most of the ones in the template are unnecessary. And yeah a lot can be combined. --ShadowShade81413 (talk) 18:20, 28 April 2017 (UTC)
More of a general notice then a reprimand: Infoboxes are not a citation free zone. If infoboxes are not summarizing content in the rest of the article, they need citations too. It is also good to cite them anyway. Do not use them to sneak uncited information in the article "because template" or "citations look weird". We have too many stupid pages with one or less citations and huge infoboxes.--SWM2448 18:33, 28 April 2017 (UTC)

Lore characters

I thought this is for World of Warcraft, according to this Lore character. --Mordecay (talk) 10:36, 29 April 2017 (UTC)

Ah, fuck. I might have deleted too much then... Still, tagging someone as a lore character or not just because he appears in WoW is probably a bit too WoW-centric now that the wiki covers everything Warcraf-related rather than just WoW Xporc (talk) 10:40, 29 April 2017 (UTC)
Not that I don't like your idea, tho. On second thought, the term "Lore" encompasses all so why should the category exclude game(s)? --Mordecay (talk) 10:42, 29 April 2017 (UTC)
Because then you might as well tag every single character ever named in the Warcraft franchise as a "Lore character" then, and the category would be pretty pointless :/ Xporc (talk) 11:15, 29 April 2017 (UTC)
Lore characters are characters that are part of the lore but that never appeared in-game. For example most of Traveler's characters. They exist, but we've never seen them. -- MyMindWontQuiet (talk) 12:02, 29 April 2017 (UTC)
Agreed. Xporc (talk) 12:07, 29 April 2017 (UTC)

Garm

So he couldn't have been a refugee because... all orcs were brown? What? :D --Mordecay (talk) 21:43, 30 April 2017 (UTC)

Oh, that. I thought the text was older than WoD/Chronicles, you know, when all brown orcs were called magh'ar instead of simply being orcs. Well, speculate away I guess, sorry for removing it. Xporc (talk) 21:46, 30 April 2017 (UTC)
Also if u look at the timeline, Garm succeeding Fenris happened after Invasion of Draenor, a time when only the Mag'har were brown. The rest of them were green and later red. So there's is something missing in his story. It's okay, mate! On the other hand, what do you mean by "all brown orcs were called magh'ar"? The term mag'har was only used for that group in Nagrand and not for all the orcs. Or? --Mordecay (talk) 22:06, 30 April 2017 (UTC)
Well I often see people speaking about mag'har orcs as if they were a separate race than normal orcs. Technically, mag'har are a faction of uncorrupted orcs, not a different race. See Sarrak for example, even if she was brown she shouldn't be described as a mag'har orc. Xporc (talk) 22:10, 30 April 2017 (UTC)
Hmm, yes. U are onto something. Do you think the mag'har orc should be merged with Mag'har? Or orc? And yes, Sarrak is a weird one. Looking at the history, I did put her as Orc, tho! :D --Mordecay (talk) 22:18, 30 April 2017 (UTC)
Wildhammer dwarf as a race redirects to Wildhammer clan, so yes, I think "mag'har orc" and "mag'har" should probably be merged. That's just my opinion tho! Xporc (talk) 22:23, 30 April 2017 (UTC)
Good one, I think! --Mordecay (talk) 22:33, 30 April 2017 (UTC)

& dagger

Hey, should we not use this anymore? -- MyMindWontQuiet (talk) 12:40, 12 May 2017 (UTC)

I think were supposed to use  † now, unless something changed while I was away. Xporc (talk) 12:54, 12 May 2017 (UTC)
