Stratholme

I would help you get it right... if I agreed to the edit. Stratholme is not a linnear instance, you can do stuff in different orders and even skip some of it. But one thing is for sure, Baron Riverdare is the last boss. CogHammer.gif Ose talk/3721 18:36, 26 August 2008 (UTC)

Stratholme is one instance, but it has two parts; one large which is scourge-owned, and the scarlet bastion, a uhm... bastion controlled by the Scarlet Crusade. But it's all part of one instance. CogHammer.gif Ose talk/3721 20:47, 26 August 2008 (UTC)

muradin

no no thats not what i meant. I had put that thing on muradin's page as well but it was removed. So i was wonding how come you putting it was ok yet me putting it wasnt.--Whitedragon254 (talk) 20:03, 15 September 2008 (UTC)

Speculation

While we do allow speculation (to a point), please make sure it has citations... Otherwise it might be flushed.Baggins (talk) 19:08, 23 September 2008 (UTC)

Do not remove information

This website is about all things warcraft. Just because you can't see something in WoW doesn't mean to remove it from a page. Pandaren for example. Please return the info post haste.Baggins (talk) 19:20, 24 September 2008 (UTC)

Mag'har

i undid your edit to the race box where you removed mag'har from it. While they are orcs they are treated seperately, similarly to Iron Dwarves and Frost Dwarves, they are both Dwarves but are treated as a seperate race for certain purposes.--User:Whitedragon254You know im seriously 1337 now. {T1337 to the extreme.CThe dragon protects me...that and my MG 30 glock of course..) 19:21, 13 October 2008 (UTC)

Yes but look at earthen, dwarves but have stone skin. i think we should ask an admin about this instead.--User:Whitedragon254You know im seriously 1337 now. {T1337 to the extreme.CThe dragon protects me...that and my MG 30 glock of course..) 20:25, 16 October 2008 (UTC)
Actually earthen dont build, they inhabit the buildings that have been left from the titans. And mag'har have different building styles if you didnt notice. Thats two reasons, Brown skin, different building styles. They should be on race template and if you still got a problem we should talk to a admin. but we should keep it on the previous way until then. And im not the only one who thinks so. just cause you think they arent doesnt mean that you should do it. Ask an admin first please.--User:Whitedragon254You know im seriously 1337 now. {T1337 to the extreme.CThe dragon protects me...that and my MG 30 glock of course..) 20:31, 16 October 2008 (UTC)
Until then lets just leave the race box alone then ok?--User:Whitedragon254You know im seriously 1337 now. {T1337 to the extreme.CThe dragon protects me...that and my MG 30 glock of course..) 20:38, 16 October 2008 (UTC)

Re: Velenkayn

Alas, I don't read the comments posted on the character pages...I must keep missing them. I only saw yours by sheer chance. Sorry for the delayed response!

To answer your question about making the character yourself: I'm not monopolizing it, if that's what you mean. Hell, if you were so inclined, I'd say - once the patch comes out and you CAN make them anywhere - to make him on Eonar so that you could join me. *grin* The only place I would PLAN on making him myself would be Proudmoore - I have a friend who plays on that server, and he also has a draenei DK. *chuckles* (By the way, I looked up the name of your paladin - you wouldn't happen to be the Anukin on Khadgar, would you?) --Joshmaul (talk) 10:11, 1 January 2009 (UTC)

Wait until the patch. Make him then. :) --Joshmaul (talk) 03:03, 2 January 2009 (UTC)
You don't have to delete anything, you know.... --Joshmaul (talk) 03:31, 2 January 2009 (UTC)
Nope. One 55+ = death knight anywhere after this patch. No limit (well, except for the limit of 1 DK per server, 10 characters per server, 50 characters per account, etc., but you get the idea). So like I said, you don't need to delete a thing. --Joshmaul (talk) 10:51, 2 January 2009 (UTC)

Since Eonar is a normal realm, as you pointed out, I do not RP. Except when I'm alone and I'm sure no one is listening. *laughs*

And other than Saavedro and Artimus, I have a 53 draenei shaman, Jaedenlaek (properly Jaeden'laek, but no apostrophes in names, alas) on Eonar. The remainder of my characters are on Proudmoore (my incarnation of Velenkayn), Khadgar (an NE DK I made for my stepfather's main Alliance server) and Medivh (where both my stepfather and I play Horde). --Joshmaul (talk) 18:54, 25 January 2009 (UTC)

My statementes

Do you always use to go rogue this way? --N'Nanz (talk) 17:59, 1 March 2009 (UTC)

Next time read about tauren before posting some non-sense as you did... --N'Nanz (talk) 18:03, 1 March 2009 (UTC)
That's the usual way in fact I didn't change anything. Nor attacked anyone who didn't agree with my statement in anyother page I edited... Now that you read about tauren, read about the earthmother. Do I have to guide you through pages about titans/tauren? --N'Nanz (talk) 18:18, 1 March 2009 (UTC)
... /sigh pursue in your check... I believe in you! --N'Nanz (talk) 18:33, 1 March 2009 (UTC)

Everybody has to learn by his own before achieve true knowledge and self salvation. This way only one can teach anybody else and tell them where they go wrong... --N'Nanz (talk) 18:45, 1 March 2009 (UTC)

You got it!!! I knew you would. I take talk_pages as the word MAYBE is nearly implied, its informations are true only when they coincide with what is written in articles too. Now I just forget about this arguement. Hope you'll do the same. --N'Nanz (talk) 19:08, 1 March 2009 (UTC)

dark blood knights?

Not saying that felblood elfs can become blood knights.... but there is the concept of dark paladin. Perhaps not using the holy light but other powers that mimic the holy light. Kinda like oh you know, Balnazzar?Baggins (talk) 14:18, 14 March 2009 (UTC)

Your request

What did you have in mind? --Joshmaul (talk) 23:20, 18 April 2009 (UTC)

To tell you the truth, I haven't played my version much anywho (or on any other server than Medivh or Eonar, for that matter)...two Saavedros (albeit only one of them being in-game) and two Joshmauls (same) are confusing enough...
By the way, I haven't seen you about on Eonar, are our timezones a little screwy? The reason I ask is because what I want to do eventually is get a screenshot of some kind with Artimus and Velenkayn - probably in or near Acherus, considering - since Velenkayn is supposed to be Artimus' #2. --Joshmaul (talk) 18:28, 21 April 2009 (UTC)
To be honest, it doesn't quite fit what I had in mind, though I did want to create a servant of Yogg-Saron (I had actually considered my warlock, but his loyalties are purely and strictly to himself!)...but no, I feel this former paladin's tale is twisted enough with all he went through at Telmor and Shattrath, his daughter "turning her back" on the Light for shamanism, his downfall, being hated and hunted by a rabid night elf with a short fuse and a big sword, that sort of thing. No need to add an Old God to the mix - he's got enough problems, heh. --Joshmaul (talk) 03:50, 23 April 2009 (UTC)
You have someone in mind? --Joshmaul (talk) 15:30, 23 April 2009 (UTC)
The House of Whitehair has employed (and even contributed to) the Farstriders in some form or another in the seven thousand years since Quel'Thalas' foundation, so the Whitehairs having a hunter in their service (probably a member of the House Guard, which - in addition to protecting the Whitehair patriarch, Lord Kel'theris - is also the family's private army) wouldn't be too much to imagine. Master Ketiron, the Whitehair House Guard commander, would probably do a major background check, but I doubt he'd find anything that would incriminate him (unless he works for the House of Shadowsun, and hence for Joshmaul, in which case...) so he would probably be welcomed in the Whitehair House Guard. Another Deathlord in Kalimdor wouldn't be too off, either... --Joshmaul (talk) 07:05, 28 April 2009 (UTC)

Continuing Resolved Conflicts

JUst incase you havent read or never will read the Kargath Bladefist talk page i'm just gonna ask you this... why are you continuing a resolved conflict? I dont want an anwser because i can care less. Alls i can see from this new response is you acting like a child. We resolved this issue like over a week ago. I dont know why you wish to restart it but it just looks like you want to prove your right. Like I said on the other talk page, responding to this message in a negative way will only prove my point. peace out--IconSmall DrakonidBlue.gifMaelstrong 01:28, 26 April 2009 (UTC)

move vs create+redirect

Two advantages to using "Move" instead of creating a new page and changing the old one to a redirect... 1) preserves page history 2) moves categories with the rest of the page, where with the new category editing system, you might miss them.

Thanks for the catch, by the way. --Eirik Ratcatcher (talk) 21:11, 18 May 2009 (UTC)

Varian article

Kingdom of Stormwind and Stormwind Kingdom mean the exact same thing. Semantics are fun, no? As for the link, I believe it is worth noting in the article that he is concurrently the ruler of New Stormwind, Redridge, Nethergarde, Duskwood, Westfall, Elwynn Forest (Goldshire, etc), indeed most all of the Azeroth continent though he differs much of his power to regional governments. Casual readers may not be privy to this information, and putting it anywhere else would seem unnatural. "People can look it up themselves" just does not hold water, this is a wiki, and the information is relevant - his relationship to those regions should be noted. Split of the Council of Deathlords

I like the idea - what are you thinking? --Joshmaul (talk) 07:08, 9 June 2009 (UTC)

Seekthreed - New Image for Ya

WoW Model Viewer - outdated as it is - is being picky with character exports, so I hope I got it right. --Joshmaul (talk) 21:15, 16 June 2009 (UTC)

Re: Say...

Good eye...I haven't exactly stated when, but it likely started around the time of the first Scourge Invasion, back in June of '06. The sides started mobilizing after BC went live. --Joshmaul (talk) 01:32, 17 June 2009 (UTC)

Lord Saltheril

No proof? He's certainly named and famous for his parties in Fairbreeze Village, Farstrider Retreat and Silvermoon City from where he orders his supplies? What more do you need? TherasTaneel (talk) 18:54, 21 June 2009 (UTC)

I'm not saying we should throw out wild stuff like Thrall once made a drink would make him a bartender, but if you want to restrict the vague description "famous/named" sections to characters which have been mentioned in the books, I'd suggest you start a cleanup now. TherasTaneel (talk) 19:02, 21 June 2009 (UTC)
I'd be happy to read where you've seen what to put into vaguely constructed sections. If no such place exist, it should. Correcting others takes time which could be spend adding infomation instead. I see what you're saying and am glad you see it my way too. TherasTaneel (talk) 19:12, 21 June 2009 (UTC)

Thanks

Thanks for you corrections, I sort of got the idea by looking at other items, but seems I missed...stuff. Learning by doing, and watching others corrections. Hope I'm not too much of an inconvenience.TherasTaneel (talk) 23:26, 25 June 2009 (UTC)

allthough, it still show an error on the "Silvermoon" Harry page.TherasTaneel (talk) 23:28, 25 June 2009 (UTC)

Re: What would you use?

Apologies - lots of busy stuff going on here.

To your first question: Staves, in my opinion, tend to be the domain of the spellcaster. If your shaman is more of a fighter, go with the axe. The better to rend your enemy's flesh. *grin*

To your second: If he wants to be in the Deathsworn, he'd have to kill Saavedro, because Saavedro is gonna kill him. Saavedro despises trolls, particularly jungle trolls, He made an exception with the Zandalar only to achieve the same end (the destruction of Hakkar) but beyond that, he shares the Trollbane line's emnity against all trolls. More often than not, he believes, they're responsible for a great deal of trouble - the Gurubashi summoning Hakkar, the Amani and Zul'jin allying with the Horde in the Second War, the Drakkari killing their own gods and basically leaving Zul'Drak ripe for the Scourging...plus that whole brouhaha with Drakuru. The House of Whitehair is a little more receptive to their Darkspear allies, but if it was a forest troll, Ordevaas would take the guy's head. Personally. --Joshmaul (talk) 05:32, 29 June 2009 (UTC)

"an" vs "a"

In English usage, "an" is the appropriate article before words starting with a vowel sound (the silent "h" in homage). "an honor", for instance, but "a hospital". It's an exception, yeah.--Eirik Ratcatcher (talk) 22:34, 8 July 2009 (UTC)

I may or may not know what I am talking about: Homage. --Eirik Ratcatcher (talk) 22:37, 8 July 2009 (UTC)

Brainstorm for the fates of my characters: Give me your opinion

I suddenly had a brainstorm yesterday, while I was doing old raids (I finally finished BWL - three years after the last time I went, woot woot, lol)...earlier in the day, I had (finally) gained exalted with Wyrmrest Accord. Which got me to thinking...I've come up with some ideas for the characters' fates:

  • Saavedro: Dies in battle against Joshmaul. Upon being buried in Sorrow Hill (his last request was to be buried in Lordaeron), Saavedro's tomb would be visited by Zaranastrasz, the red dragon who has watched over him since the beginning of his life, and would return him to life - retaining his leadership of the Coalition (having turned over the Deathsworn to Oren Tanis) and the Regency of Lordaeron, but he would now be an immortal Dragonsworn of Alexstrasza.
  • Joshmaul: Dies in battle against Saavedro, his body cast off the cliffs of Icecrown to be pulverized by the rocks below before entering the sea. However, before his death, he appears to a Gilnean warlock and instructs him to become infected by the worgen plague, be cured by Krennan Aranas' potions so that he would maintain worgen and human forms, and then - when the Greymane Wall opens - to journey to Shadowfang Tower in Grizzly Hills, where Joshmaul has set up shop. The head of the original Avatar of Joshmaul (Noggra the Pure) still has a few charges on it that would allow Joshmaul's resurrection, but he requires a host body - the worgen's. It's a trap to gain Joshmaul a new host, and a new soul to consume. At first, though, I'm moving Joshmaul to Eonar and faction-changing him so that I can get some decent stuff on a server that's not mostly dead.
  • Ordevaas: Critically injured during the Battle of the Court of Bones (the last battle against Joshmaul's legions), he decides to retire as head of the House of Whitehair and turns it over to Taeril'hane Ketiron and Areinnye Scourgebane, now husband and wife. He joins the Grand Army of Kezan and decides to go exploring in the world beyond the Cataclysm.
  • The remaining Council of Deathlords: With Erennia and Settra dead (Settra and Inar of Borealis, his cousin/adoptive father, will kill one another by falling from the Frozen Throne platform at the spire of Icecrown Citadel) and Seekthreed now in the Grand Army of Kezan, Artimus is now part of the Lordaeron Deathsworn, as are Aximand and Velenkayn, his two most loyal followers. His fences have been mended with Saavedro leading up to the final battle against the Lich King, and has worked up good relations with both the House of Whitehair and General Tanis for his actions in the Battle of the Court of Bones, leading to Joshmaul's defeat.
  • Sekhesmet: Will probably remain undead. I'm considering, since I already have a robe-shoulder set Horde side and I have one (with staff) in Saavedro's bank waiting for use, having Decibelius faction-changed (to what race, I don't know yet...maybe draenei) and moved to Eonar to benefit from this stuff.
  • Vulnavia (Saavedro's apprentice): Will take up the armor and trappings of a paladin after Saavedro's death, and will not be aware of his resurrection.
  • Jaeden'laek: Remains as Oren Tanis' chief advisor, and would be the only person in the Deathsworn who would know of Saavedro's return.

I have not yet considered where to move my remaining Horde (Ordevaas and Sekhesmet) to, however; Medivh is practically dead by this point, and I'm not optimistic about Eonar because the Alliance outnumbers the Horde there by about 3-to-1...plus I know next to nothing about anyone or anything there. The only reason I considered it was to consolidate all of my characters on one server...

Anywho - your opinion? --Joshmaul (talk) 18:12, December 6, 2009 (UTC)

Glad to see you're not dead

Was beginning to wonder. *grin* --Joshmaul (talk) 10:30, February 13, 2010 (UTC)
