Page moves

I'm not sure the changes from e.g. Trollbane to House of Trollbane are necessary, but if you do move a page, please make sure you go to the drop-down menu near the "View history" button and select "Move" rather than cutting and pasting. When you move things the way you appear to be doing, it just creates work for administrators because you need to have the past authors listed in the edit history. Thanks. --Bellocois (talk) 02:53, 12 January 2011 (UTC)

NPC classes

Why are you marking the classes of some NPC races as first appearing in Cataclysm, even if they were there before?--SWM2448 00:03, 14 January 2011 (UTC)

Some are only confirmed in Cataclysm due to the appearance of class trainers representative of that race as I have been saying.--Atomos (talk) 00:05, 14 January 2011 (UTC)
The (disturbingly nonexistent) citation about the classes of NPC races should mostly, in theory, come from the tabletop RPG books, based on the fact that information on what classes they can be is usually listed there. Other sources include a random NPC of that race having abilities purely of a single playable class. If confirmation via class trainers is what is desired, perhaps I should just purge any classes currently existing uncited in the infoboxes. What is dismissed as common knowledge may be wrong after all.--SWM2448 00:42, 14 January 2011 (UTC)
I don't know why some infoboxes had citations in them. There were there before I started editing them. Again please look at the class trainers NPCs lists like the NPCs in Dalaran list. There is a reason why the developers added high elf trainers for certain classes and excluded others. Obviously there are no shaman or druid high elves in lore so far so there are also no trainers for them. I am not saying you should remove other classes. In fact, I didn't remove them.--Atomos (talk) 00:51, 14 January 2011 (UTC)
All you're doing is moving an already confirmed class to the beginning and adding (WoW) or others... STOP that. It's already confirmed in the RPGs. Snake.gifSssssssssssssssssssssssss Coobra sig3.gifFor Pony! (Sssss/Slithered) 00:58, 14 January 2011 (UTC)
I know, but the difference here is that they are playable class and may have an affect in future gameplay.--Atomos (talk) 01:01, 14 January 2011 (UTC)
Sorry, doesn't work like that. Snake.gifSssssssssssssssssssssssss Coobra sig3.gifFor Pony! (Sssss/Slithered) 01:02, 14 January 2011 (UTC)
It has to be consistent with playable races like the night elves. They have the WoW classes at the top.--Atomos (talk) 01:08, 14 January 2011 (UTC)

Windstalker Ifram and Major Characters page.

I doubt that Windstalker Ifram is a major char. If Prince Shaffar and Haramd were not listed, neithershould be a lowly rogue trainer. That's my two cents. (Major characters#Ethereals) --IconSmall BloodElf2 Male.gif Encaitar (DiscussionDeeds) 17:03, 14 January 2011 (UTC)

Spaces on Npcbox template

Please, don't add extra spaces to the Npcbox template. Leave them like this |field = data and not like this |field = data (press edit to see what I mean). Adding extra spaces is just wasting memory of the page and making the code harder to read.--Lon-ami (talk) 18:39, 27 March 2011 (UTC)

Terenas Menethil I

Please note that a ruler does not always have the same name that is immediate predecessor. For UK we have George IV in 1820-1830, George V 1910-1936 and George VI 1936-1952. Not to even mention the popes of Rome whose name change at every new pope!

So please forget your "Terenas Menethil I" because he does not exist anywhere in lore.

Or enlight us with a source!

Racial enclaves

What's your reasoning as to add {{infobox town}} to "Racial enclaves"? --g0urra[T҂C] 13:11, 26 March 2012 (UTC)

The Silver Enclave is a distinct location similar to the Goblin Slums or Tinkertown that acts as de facto racial capitals?-Atomos (talk) 13:14, 26 March 2012 (UTC)
No, capital of these to races are Orgrimmar and Ironforge
IconSmall Hamuul.gif Loremaster A'noob, Arch Druid of the Noobhoof Clan (talk/contribz) 13:17, 26 March 2012 (UTC)
I know but the situation of the high elves kinda shows that these districts are quite distinct that they are their own "towns" themselves plus the racial districts in Orgrimmar have their own auction houses + banks so they could be seen as seperate.--Atomos (talk) 13:20, 26 March 2012 (UTC)
I fail to see the use/value of this "Racial enclaves" thing.
IconSmall Hamuul.gif Loremaster A'noob, Arch Druid of the Noobhoof Clan (talk/contribz) 13:30, 26 March 2012 (UTC)
They are more useful in faction-split cities like Dalaran + Shattrath where the services of one faction may not be always avaible to the other. Plus a lore thing, we can now give the high elfs a capital.--Atomos (talk) 13:36, 26 March 2012 (UTC)
"we can now give the high elfs a capital" - That's not up to us to decide. --g0urra[T҂C] 13:37, 26 March 2012 (UTC)
I'm alluding to the Gnomes and goblins that "have" a capital. Dalaran is obviously not "owned" by the elves like the Gnomes don't own the whole Ironforge or the goblins the whole Orgrimmar.--13:41, 26 March 2012 (UTC)--Atomos (talk) 13:43, 26 March 2012 (UTC)
Where does it say that the Goblin Slums and Tinker Town are the capitals of gnomes and goblins respectively? The goblin capital is Undermine (playable is Bilgewater Harbor), the gnome one is New Tinkertown. --g0urra[T҂C] 13:54, 26 March 2012 (UTC)
Before New Tinkertown, durin the original WoW, Tinkertown in Ironforge was the capital of the Gnomes.--Atomos (talk) 14:01, 26 March 2012 (UTC)
I think that you are over-categorizing the whole thing.
IconSmall Hamuul.gif Loremaster A'noob, Arch Druid of the Noobhoof Clan (talk/contribz) 14:04, 26 March 2012 (UTC)
I know, but don;t you think it's weird why they would make it like that?--Atomos (talk) 14:06, 26 March 2012 (UTC)
Sure, but the wiki should be about current events. Ironforge nor Tinker Town are the gnomes' capital city. --g0urra[T҂C] 14:07, 26 March 2012 (UTC)
i'm changing old tinkertown to a "town" if you like, --Atomos (talk) 14:15, 26 March 2012 (UTC)
No, don't. --g0urra[T҂C] 14:28, 26 March 2012 (UTC)
Haha... what?--Atomos (talk) 14:29, 26 March 2012 (UTC)
It is not a town it is a subzone of a town.
Stop adding the Town template into subzones please
IconSmall Hamuul.gif Loremaster A'noob, Arch Druid of the Noobhoof Clan (talk/contribz) 14:45, 26 March 2012 (UTC)
And how is a "racial enclave" a zone with mutiple races? If it "racial" it would have to be a "one race only place", and most on your list are not

Please consider that Vox populi has voted against "destroyed" section at Forum:Race factions templates.

Thank you.

I would really like to know, where did you get this nonsense. As far as I know, Northrend nor Dalaran won´t be updating, so why should Jaina be moving there? --Mordecay (talk) 08:45, 15 July 2012 (UTC)
He is refering to [1]. So it is not nonsense ;-) --LemonBaby (talk) 08:53, 15 July 2012 (UTC)
Shi- Whaaaaat? Dunno what to say, ehm... wandering then where is Rhonin and if we will see this change in game... --Mordecay (talk) 09:05, 15 July 2012 (UTC)
Consider this does not exist for now

I will consider this as false, photoshoped... info :D --Mordecay (talk) 09:32, 15 July 2012 (UTC)
