This is my route for farming heavy junkboxes. I was using a lv 85 Subtlety rogue with the glyphs pick pocket, sprint, and stealth (and pick lock). When I first started, I was getting around 40~50 lockboxes per hour. By the time I finished Ravenholdt rep, with much more liberal use of [Burst of Speed], I was getting about 80 lockboxes per hour.

General: - Burst of Speed whenever you can. At 85, you don't need to stealth to get past most of the groups in LBRS. With Burst of Speed, the entire route takes about 35 minutes for the first run and 15 minutes for subsequent runs (20 min once the first UBRS room respawns) - Mark humanoid pats with raid markings to make them easier to see. There are more pats than there are raid markings, but you can mark most of them. - Pickpocket humanoid pats whenever they pass closest to your route. - Kill draconic pats and the spiders on the first run so you can freely Burst of Speed through the areas they frequent without being dazed/webbed/etc.

Start with UBRS. Yes, pickpocket the mobs in the entrance room on the way, but for the full circuit this room is covered at the end. Dragonspire Hall All humanoids in this room must be killed to open the door to the next area. Kill the dragonspawn, too, for future Burst of Speeding. The mobs here will eventually respawn (after ~2 hrs), but the door will stay open. 1. Kill the first dragonspawn. 2. 2nd side room on the left 3. 1st side room on the left 4. 1st side room on the right 5. 2nd side room on the right 6. 3rd side room on the right 7. Kill the second dragonspawn. 8. 4th side room on the right 9. Last side room.

Hall of Binding None of the mobs in this room are pick-pocketable, even after you disrupt the ritual. Everything must be killed to open the door to the next area.

The Rookery None of the mobs here are pick-pocketable. Stealth & sprint through unless you want Jenkins

Upper Hall of Blackhand I usually kill the dragonspawn pat and the two dragonspawn mobs by the left exit. 10. Goraluk Anvilcrack's end of the room (Goraluk Anvilcrack himself will drop Strong Junkboxes instead of Heavy Junkboxes 11. 1st Right group 12. 1st Left group 13. 2nd Right group 14. 2nd Left group

Go up the left stairs. On the landing you are technically in Blackrock Stadium.

Blackrock Stadium Take the side route (don't just jump down) to pockpocket the mobs on the way. Rend must be killed to move to the next area. 15. Side room on the left (on the landing). 16. First group in the caverns 17. Blackrock Thugs (by Awbee) 18. Blackrock Veteran (the only other humanoid mob you can get at pre-Rend) 19. Rend Blackhand event. (Only on first run through.)

    • The first two waves are only dragonkin and not pickpocketable.
    • Subsequent waves each contain a single humanoid that can be pickpocketed. Recommend using [Distract] or [Sap] first because they move quickly.
    • Rend comes down on Gyth. Once he dismounts he IS pockpocketable, but not before. (I've gotten lockboxes from him twice, once a  [Heavy Junkbox] and once a  [Strong Junkbox]. You will either need to vanish or use the lv 80 Subtlety power [Shadow Dance] to do pickpocket him because you will already be in combat. I used Shadow Dance, so I don't know if it will bug out / reset if you vanish.)

20. Out the exit, up the stairs to the left. Two mobs here. 21. Turn left, pickpocket the five mobs (including 1 humanoid pat) in the hallway leading to the Blackwing Lair entrance. (I also kill the dragonspawn pat in this hallway).

Make a U-turn, sprint past the mobs you already pickpocketed, into... The Furnace I usually kill the Beast for the chance at the  [Ace of Beasts], but he can be completely ignored. 22. Work your way around The Furnace clockwise. (Three groups + 1 pat)

Upper Hordemar City 23. Go across the bridge and pickpocket the four mobs at the end.

Spire Throne General Drakkisath is completely ignorable. Do get the pat. 24. Near Right group 25. Near Left group 26. Far Left group

Hordemar City Go back out to the bridge, and jump down to the NORTH. You will survive the fall, but if you are lower level and want some health leeway in case you get in combat, then you can use Vaelastrasz's ledge to break your fall (though you have to sprint, jump, or make sure you miss the curtain to get on the ledge). Note: Vael is no longer here. 27. Pickpocket the mobs at the top landing (by where you land). Head downhill. 28. Pickpocket the mobs on the hill. Jump down. 29. Pickpocket the mobs in that lower corner. Go up to the bridge. 30. Mobs on the near side of the bridge. 31. Mobs on the far side of the bridge. 32. Mobs against the far wall (near the Roughshod Pikes) 33. Two more groups of orcs before you get to the ogres. 34. Ogres! Don't forget the pat as you cross the bridge.

Mok'Doom 35. More ogres. Go up the hill on the left first. 36. Drop down and get Highlord Omokk and company 37. Get the lone ogre near Omokk on the way out Sprint!

Hordemar City redux 38. Last group of orcs 39. First group of trolls

Tazz'Alor There are lots of pats in this area. I usually don't bother marking the two on the upper level, but I definitely mark the two groups on the lower level. 40. Three groups and 1 pat in the first room. Work your way around clockwise starting with the group eating dinner. 41. Boss's room. Get everything. While at 85 you can get past the first group unstealthed (barely), I usually sap one of the side mobs to get more room so I can [Burst of Speed] out. 42. Across the stairs and up the other side (by Bijou). 1 group, 1 pat. 43. Forward and slightly left toward the next boss. (Jump.) There is a group of 4 and a lone Smolderthorn Berserker on the way to War Master Voone. 44. Back out to the main room. Side group on the left. 45. Big group in the middle. The mobs in this group wander around their point a LOT. If you are low level and/or do not have the  [Glyph of Pick Pocket] you will probably want to sap each mob as you approach it to make sure they don't turn on you. 46. Back right corner. 47. Back left corner. Make sure you've also gotten the two lower level pats before you move on.

Lower Hordemar City There is one pat in this section. There are about 6 places where mobs CAN but usually don't spawn. One is in the last corner behind the last cart. Keep an eye out for these. 48. Everything.

Skitterweb Tunnels 49. Group of 5 orcs that stretch across the hallway. 50. Side room with 2 groups Kill the spiders for [Burst of Speed] on subsequent runs.

Southern [[Hordemar City] 51. Five ogres, one of which is a pat. 52. Upward into orc country. Get the group by the doorway (and the pat with the worgs) and head left. 53. Group at the top of the stairs right outside of...

The Storehouse 54. Two more groups, and almost always Quartermaster Zigris (pat)

Back to Southern Hordemar City 55. Work your way around the S-shaped room. There is 1 pat here, and 2-4 orcs sleeping in corners. Don't fall. 56. Cross the bridge, get the two guards.

Chamber of Battle 57. Two groups, 1 pat. 58. Kill Overlord Wyrmthalak (first run only). This will spawn 2 additional mobs that can be pickpocketed. They will eventually despawn, so you only get them once, but might as well.

Go out, drop down by the ogres. Drop down by the other ogres. Sprint out.

Lower Hall of Blackhand 59. Bottom group of mobs. Random trivia: If you fall (or jump) into the pit here, you will land by the entrance of Blackrock Caverns 60. Go UP and get the three groups that you never, ever see just doing the instance. 61. Back down and toward the entryway. Get the group of 3 in the middle of the lower area. 62. Side room on the left (facing the instance exit). Keep working your way around the lower level clockwise. 63. Entryway mobs on the left. 64. Entryway mobs on the right 65. First side room on the ...right (now left) 66. Second side room on the "right" 67. Far end of the room. 68. Up... get the pats if you haven't already. Turn right into UBRS. Go back to #1.

Note: If you are updating wowpedia, make sure you are not sitting directly in the path of a pat, even if they are sapped and you are stealthed. You WILL get distracted and let the sap wear off while you are typing.
