Patch X.1 is a patch for N'Zoth's Vengeance.
Summary
As the campaign in the South Seas continues, another battlefront opens: the island of Tel'Abim, once a land full of bananas, has revealed a titan facility to the rest of Azeroth, which is rumored to hold the most powerful titan device in all of Azeroth. The forces of N'Zoth have already landed on Tel Abim, and seek to claim this artifact, with both Alliance and Horde rushing to claim it as well. However, with tensions between the two factions rising, it seems as if both factions may want to claim the artifact for themselves.
New Zone: Tel'Abim
Tel'Abim is a zone full of both PvE and PvP content. Players will work to assist their faction in seizing the titan artifact underneath the island, while fighting both the forces of the Old Gods and the opposite faction.
Naval Skirmishes are events that can occur randomly throughout the world, requiring you to sail over to them. These events are either PvE or PvP based, and will reward you with special rewards.
New Dungeons
Three new max-level 5-man dungeons have been added:
- Hall of the Shapers: Delve into the first sanctum of the titan complex on Tel Abim.
- Chamber of Creation: The Chamber of Creation holds powerful titan equipment.
- Vault of the Forgers: The Vault of the Forgers holds the most powerful titan device in all of Azeroth.
New Battleground: Temple of the Makers
The Temple of the Makers, located deep inside the titan complex, holds valuable titan equipment that could turn the tide of the war in the South Seas. Both Alliance and Horde seek to claim the temple and the secrets within, even if it means fighting against one-another. The battleground functions like Strand of the Ancients, with each side taking turns attacking and defending. In addition, you can gain reputation with the Alliance and Horde reputation factions in Tel Abim.
New Reputation Factions
Lion's Vanguard
- Leader: Danath Trollbane
- The Lion's Vanguard is an elite force of Alliance troops, handpicked by King Varian Wrynn to lead the Alliance to victory throughout Azeroth. Led by Danath Trollbane, they have been deployed in Tel Abim to ensure that the titan artifact on the island doesn't fall into the wrong hands, even if it means fighting the Horde.
The New Kor'kron
- Leader: High Warlord Cromush
- The New Kor'kron, founded by High Warlord Cromush, seeks to stick to the original purpose of the Kor'kron: acting as the elite soldiers of the Horde, and the Warchief's personal guard. They are determined to ensure that the campaign on Tel Abim goes as planned, and that the artifact on the island is kept away from N'Zoth's forces, even if it means fighting the Alliance.
Sunfury Tribe
- Leader: Yaka'jin
- The Sunfury tribe of trolls lived on the island of Tel Abim for years. However, the arrival of the Steamwheedle Cartel and Naga have forced them to abandon their homes. They now reach out to the Alliance and Horde, promising the faction that helps them reclaim their home with knowledge of the South Seas, along with their aid in future conflicts.
