Pelagos, formerly known as Pelagosa, was once a blue dragon of the Blue dragonflight. After her death, her soul departed to the Shadowlands and was chosen by the Arbiter to go to the infinite plane of Bastion, reborn as a Kyrian. Due to being a female in life, she chose to be a man while training to become one of the Ascended.

During the Alliance-Horde war, Pelagosa was charged with moving the Focusing Iris to a secure location. She was one of the smallest and youngest of the blues but had a gift for magic beyond her age. She was killed along with the other escorts by members of the Horde, who wished to steal the artifact. She was betrothed to Banagos, who discovered her body and tended to it.[1]
Shadowlands
After her death, Pelagosa's soul had been sent to Bastion, one of the ruling infinite planes that were aligned with the Shadowlands. After taking on the physical form of a Kyrian, Pelagosa started out as an Aspirant and changed her name to "Pelagos", for which she chose remain in the form of a man instead of a woman since he felt comfortable. In order to fulfill his duties in Bastion, he had to purge away his memories of his former life, but found it to be very difficult to think about since had asking himself on whether he should remember or not. Even as he continued to go through his trials, Pelagos had forgotten his former name, but never felt that his previous physical form as a Blue dragon represented who he was inside. Pelagos is patient enough to await ascension, but feels truly happy on the path he had been following and also believes that he and the other Kyrian may have as much to learn.
