The Nazjatar Castle is a level 110+++ raid instance set within the deep waters of Azsuna.

Background

Nazjatar Castle resides within the deepest spaces of the vast Azsuna. Within here lies the bulk of the Queen Azshara's massive naga army. It is also the prison of the water lord Neptulon. Queen Azshara resides within the castle, listening to the mad whisperings of the old gods as their faceless minions support the Naga Queen in bolstering the castle's defenses. However, vengeful Water elementals seek to release their lord from his captivity and they will kill anyone who gets in their way.

Bosses

There are ten bosses within the deep castle. Bosses are split into two sections with the difficulty of bosses increasing by section.

First Section

  • IconSmall RevenantWater.gif Hydronith - A special Water revenant that guides its brethren to battle, Hydronith rarely visits the surface world above nor does he wish to encounter a creature from what he calls the "dry world". As a being of water, Hydronith moves fluidly in combat and similar to ocean waves, can strike at his enemies when they at least expect it.
  • IconSmall Naga Male.gif Commander Riz'aaj - Commander of the Naga army, Riz'aaj oversees the preparation of his army as they train around the clock. Riz'aaj looks forward to his people's reemergence into the world above.
  • IconSmall FacelessoftheDeep.gif Void Priest Uhnol'zimak - A priest of the faceless and ally to the Naga, Uhnol'zimak spreads his corrupting faith onto the various naga soldiers present during his seminar. It is there he can secretly gain a personal guard as he continues to preach his dark words onto the naga. While the Naga consider him an ally, this faceless creature seeks to reap much more than friendship from the serpent people.
  • IconSmall UnboundWater.gif Aquoss the Indomitable - Aquoss is a destructive water elemental hellbent on seeking revenge on those responsible for Neptulon's capturing. All around him lies naga corpses as they attempted to detain him for the Queen. Driven by vengeance, this crazed elemental will destroy anything not of his elemental type.
  • IconSmall Water.gif Hydriss the Water Mistress - A deadly water elemental, Hydriss makes a private lair within the massive castle. Doing away with any Naga filth, she seeks to cleanse the waters of their kind in order to free Neptulon from his prison.

Second Section

  • IconSmall NagaLord.gif Highlord Jhal'untak - A powerful Naga lord sends his most powerful soldiers into battle against any invaders before engaging in combat himself. It is said that his attacks are so brutal even his own men fear the thought of failing him.
  • IconSmall Naga Female.gif Hemaelash the Sorceress - A powerful sorceress of the naga, Hemaelash controls the reluctant water elementals as she sends them into battle against her enemies while she attacks at range. She is cunning as she is evil, and she will stop at nothing to please her Queen Azshara and the Old ones.
  • IconSmall Leviathan.gif Ozumat - The great fiend, Ozumat is responsible for capturing Neptulon for the Naga. Now the Water Lord is undergoing corruption by the mightiest of Naga and Faceless. They attempt to break his will as they tear away at his mind. With Neptulon's corruption nearly completed, Ozumat chooses to face the heroes he fought at the Tidal halls. No one knows how devastating Ozumat truly is, but those willing to face him must come prepared.
  • IconSmall WaterLord.gif Neptulon - The great water lord Neptulon, proud ruler of the seas, sought the help of adventurers months earlier only to fall captive to the dreaded Ozumat and the Naga. Now he is held deep within the castle of the naga and cries out for the aid of his elemental kin as the naga and faceless break his will. Should they succeed, Neptulon will prove to the world that they will regret not rescuing him in time.
  • IconSmall NagaSeaWitch.gif Queen Azshara - The devious Queen Azshara, the former night elf queen turned naga, is the one responsible for sending the Burning Legion into the world of Azeroth. Turning on her people at the corrupting hands of Sargeras, she led them into the world of Azeroth so that their master may feed off of the energies of the eternal well. In the end, her defeat and that of the Dark One has led to the Great Sundering and the transformation of her followers into the dreaded Naga. Now as the Empress of the Naga, she intends to rise up back into the world as a tide of death far greater than anything before. Her revenge will be swift and without mercy.
