Halls of the Tidehunter is one of the first two wings of the Abyssal Maw. These grand corridors act as an extension to the Throne of the Tides, generally housing water elemental guards, researchers, and maintainers. However, with the recent uprising of Old God powers within the Abyssal Maw, the area has been devoid of any water elementals. Instead, players, along with Duke Hydraxis, are surprised to encounter invading fire elementals, led by the Firelord Regent Thermorok, who are taking advantage of the calamitous state of the plane of water and attacking. Protecting the side gate to the Throne of the Tides within the Fountain of Pure Water is none other than the Frost Lord Ahune, a loyal servant to Neptulon who just may have some mixed feelings about seeing the adventurers who banish him back to the Frostland every summer...
