Lady Stephany Prideheart, Grand Marshal of the Armed Forces of Lordaeron, is the de facto leader of the remainder of the military of Lordaeron. Following the disappearance of her father Grand Marshal Delrach Prideheart during the battle of Andorhal in the Third War, who commanded the army previously, she took over the command of the army by the will of her presumed deceased father.
Though Stephany is somewhat incommunicative, the majority of the troops accept their female leader due to her noble origin, her friendly kind and her mostly effective military decisions. She is a human paladin in her mid-twenties.
Biography
Early life
Stephany was born in the city of Stratholme as the chield of the priestess Lyria Prideheart and the knight Delrach, who was also a commander of the troops of Lordaeron. Her father left soon after her birth and was one of the first knights to join the newly founded Order of the Silver Hand as the Second War begun. While thus her mother cared for her for the most of her childhood, she later admired the strength of her father and wished to become a paladin just like him.
When the war was finally over, her father returned as a newly promoted Grand Marshal. Though he finally had time to see his familly regulary his time was still only limited because of his new dutys. It was in this time, that Lyria gave birth to Stephany's sister Cassidy. As Stephany attained the needed age, her father started to train her in the art of war. Young Stephany proved to be a talented fighter and thanks to the simultaneous education of her mother in the ways of the Light, she successfully joined the Silver Hand as a full paladin, causing her sister to eagerly attempt to become a paladin as well. Though Cassidy was not as strinkingly talented as Stephany, she still proved worthy to be trained by their father as well.
The Third War
Soon after the training of Cassidy began, first signs of the Plague were spotted throughout the Northlands of Lordaeron. To ensure the safety of the surrounding villages and farmlands, Delrach assembled a small contingent of the available troops, taking both of his daughters with him. As they arrived at the first reported village, the inhabitants were already mindless, undead followers of the Scourge, attacking the small armed force on sight.
