Unplayable races

This following list contains races that most likely would never become playable.

	Murloc	Neutral		Primitive; Can't speak common or orcish; tend to stay close to water
	Naga	Neutral	No long legs/feet	Would not be able to mount normal creatures (or collect mounts; would be like tauren when could only use kodos)
	Centaur	Neutral	Four legs	Would not be able to mount normal creatures (or collect mounts; would be like tauren when could only use kodos)
	Tol'vir	Neutral	Four legs	Would not be able to mount normal creatures (or collect mounts; would be like tauren when could only use kodos); Only had 3 tribes, all but 1 now exists.
	Dragonspawn	Neutral	Four legs	Would not be able to mount normal creatures (or collect mounts; would be like tauren when could only use kodos); Classified as Dragonkin

Possible races

This following list contains races that could be reworked to become playable.

	Ethereal		Made of energy	Would need redesigning to allow for genders
	Furbolg			Could work similar to worgens (model and clothing wise)
	Gnoll			Primitive; Have joined many groups
	Harpy			Males don't exist (could be changed)
	Hozen		Short life spans	A faction already joined the Horde; Not relevant to future expansions
	Jinyu			A faction already joined the Alliance; Not relevant to future expansions
	Leper gnome			Some have joined the Forsaken; Numbers are dwindling as Gnomeregan is cleansed; Would never join the Alliance with their uncorrupted gnome brethren
	Mantid			Live in Pandaria; Not relevant to future expansions
	Mogu			Live in Pandaria; Would not join either faction, because both have pandaren; Not relevant to future expansions
	Nerubian		Many legs	Live in Northrend; Only relevant in expansion that revisits Northrend
	Ogre		Large	To work all player ogres would have to be small; Females are supposed to be rare
	Pygmy			Two known types, Island (all killed, maybe) Sand (worked with Neferset tol'vir)
	Quilboar			Would not join the Horde; Too primitive for the Alliance
	Saurok			Somewhat primitive; Not relevant to future expansions
	Tuskarr		Can't leave their climate (appears to be inconsistent)	Friendly to everyone; Climate issue could be retconned; Only relevant in expansion that revisits Northrend
	Virmen			Primitive; Most too dumb to use weapons
	Vrykul		Large	To work they would have to be brought down to the size of humans; Situation unknown as much of their leadership has been killed off; likely to not join the Alliance with their human descendants
	Wolvar			Primitive; Only relevant in expansion that revisits Northrend
