As the great war began, Sabellian created the Black Horde to fight the forces of the Burning Legion. The races of the Black Horde were united under Sabellian's banner. The Black Horde assaulted on the Black Temple and captured it. The Light once again shone in the halls of the Black Temple as was renamed The Temple of Karabor. The temple became the capital and the main base of the black Horde.
