Unlocking the Heart's Potential was available when you reached Honored reputation with the Champions of Azeroth prior to patch 8.2.0. Note that you would NOT get any hint or introduction that you've unlocked it.

Objectives

Speak to Magni Bronzebeard and empower the  [Heart of Azeroth].

Description

I sense the Heart of Azeroth gettin' stronger, <name>. Perhaps we can unlock even more of the amulet's potential.

Yer gonna need every bit o' its might. As if there weren't already forces fightin' over Azerite, lately it seems the servants o' the Old Gods have begun tae seek it out as well!

Come. We can use the Azerite ye've gathered tae strengthen the Heart.

Rewards

You will learn the following: Heart of Azeroth Item Level Increase (Increase the Heart of Azeroth's item level by 15.)

You will also receive:

  • 2g 34s
  • 1,790 XP

Progress

Hold still, champion, while I empower the Heart of Azeroth.

Completion

We're on the right track, champion. Keep absorbin' Azerite and stoppin' those who seek tae abuse it.

Azeroth seems confused... worried. I don't know what tae make of it, but I fear things are gonna get worse before they get better.

Notes

Gossip Magni, I'm ready for you to empower the Heart of Azeroth.

You hold out the amulet and Magni raises his arm and channels the Azerite as a swirl of energy once again.
Magni Bronzebeard says: Do ye feel it? The Heart's power continues tae awaken!
Magni Bronzebeard says: I fear we still got a long way tae go, <name>. Things out there seem tae be gettin' worse.
Magni Bronzebeard says: But we cannae give in tae despair. I know ye will turn back this tide o' darkness!
  • If the Heart of Azeroth was increased to 310 ilvl, you would have to unequip and re-equip it for it to count towards the  [Superior (Battle)] achievement.
