Trigore the Lasher is rare hydra found in the Cavern of Mists in the Northern Barrens, swimming just left of the entrance portal to the Wailing Caverns.
Huge and covered in scars, the vicious Trigore fought many battles and won every single one, killing many adventurers and Alliance and Horde warriors alike. Many orc younglings attempted to kill Trigore to earn the Blessing of the Clan for their om'gora, but were all killed by the hydra. After Benge became the latest of Trigore's victims, Durak snuck off to the Wailing Caverns to avenge Benge and prove to his parents, Thrall and Aggralan, that he was ready for his own om'gora. After a difficult battle, Durak killed Trigore, cut off its three heads, and painted his face with its blood as the rite required.[1]
