Brewfest
The subject of this article or section is part of Brewfest, a seasonal event that lasts two weeks. Once the event has run its course, this will no longer be available until next year, but there are no guarantees.

Objectives

Talk to Boxey Boltspinner in the Brewfest camp.

Description

The Dark Irons took a beating! As they rushed back to the Grim Guzzler, a portion of their transport fell off. More importantly, you managed to keep the camp safe... today.

Head over to Boxey and explain your heroic triumph over the Dark Iron dwarves.

Rewards

You will receive:  [Brewfest Prize Token] x10

Completion

So you managed to stop the Dark Irons... While drunk too? That, <class>, is truly the spirit of Brewfest! I guess in keeping with the spirit of Brewfest you want your prize tokens.

Thanks for your help, <name>. Enjoy the rest of Brewfest.

Notes

On completion, you will receive the achievement  Down With The Dark Iron.

The quest A [1-70] Chug and Chuck! introduces you to the concept of using the  [Alcohol-Free Brewfest Sampler] mugs to bonk something with. If the populace is successful in defending the brew kegs during one of the half-hourly invasions, a bit of wreckage will drop, allowing the start of this quest.

The Dark Iron Mole Machine Wreckage only spawns if the Dark Iron Dwarves are defeated, there have been reports that approximately 250 Dark Iron Dwarves must be knocked out in order for their side to lose.[1]

Patch changes

  • Battle for Azeroth Patch 8.2.0 (2019-06-25): Removed and replaced with A [1-70 Daily] Direbrew Cog.
  • Wrath-Logo-Small.png Patch 3.2.2 (2009-09-22): On some servers, for some characters, the ability to actually hit anything with the mugs was greatly impaired. Patch 3.2.2 seems to have corrected that.
