Description

Anduin is being kept in a place the shades call the Tremaculum. It's not far, but the way is perilous.

I have tried more than once to free him from his captors, but the forces holding him are too great for me to handle alone.

I'm counting on your presence to tip the scales.

Notes

On accept, Jaina and Thrall join the party:

Lady Jaina Proudmoore says: Once we find Anduin, my staff will serve as an anchor for me to teleport us back to safety.

Jaina plants her staff in the ground.

Lady Jaina Proudmoore says: All set. Let's get moving.

Exit the cave and head north along the road and across the bridge to reach the Tremaculum. Don't get caught by the spikes on the bridge!

Thrall says: This is the Tremaculum. Here souls are tormented, twisted into wretched shades.

Lady Jaina Proudmoore says: Last I saw Anduin, they were taking him to the tower above. We need to find a way up there.

Across the bridge, down at the base of the steps, is a glowing rune on the ground:

Lady Jaina Proudmoore says: Here!

Lady Jaina Proudmoore says: I sense tendrils of magic tethering this rune to the tower. It should take us there.

Step on it to teleport up. Cross the bridge, dodging yet more spikes, and Jaina and Thrall spot Anduin, being held captive by Sylvanas!

Lady Jaina Proudmoore says: There's Anduin!

Thrall says: Sylvanas! What does she want with him?

If you try to approach Anduin and Sylvanas before speaking with Jaina, the Lord Admiral will teleport you back to her.

Lady Jaina Proudmoore says: Hold here.

Speak with Jaina to continue:

Sylvanas has the Jailer's forces at her command. She could call them down to overwhelm us.

It won't do Anduin any good if we're all captured. Let's hold off on engaging her until we know what she's after.

 <Lie low and observe.>

A cutscene plays:

Anduin Wrynn says: You won't... succeed...

Sylvanas Windrunner says: Such a narrow vision. You disappoint me.

Sylvanas Windrunner says: No matter. We will find what we seek... in another.

Lady Jaina Proudmoore says: Anduin! How badly are you hurt?

Anduin Wrynn says: I... will live. I'm relieved you're all safe.

Thrall says: These bonds are too strong to break by force. We must find a way to free him.

Speak with Anduin to continue.
