Speak to Polemarch Adrestes at Archon's Rise in Elysian Hold.

Description

The Forsworn are our former brothers and sisters in arms...our former kin. But we must see this through.

We will hit them from all sides. Fight well, but do not forget that Lysonia is our ultimate objective. If she does not fall, then she will recruit more to their cause in time.

A scenario begins:

Stage 1: One Small Step

Push forward into the Citadel of Loyalty.
  • Enter the Citadel of Loyalty
Polemarch Adrestes says: Our Paragons will each lead a strike from the flanks.
Polemarch Adrestes says: Maw Walker, you will push straight ahead with our largest force.
Polemarch Adrestes says: We follow your lead.

While in the scenario, players have the Xandria's Courage, Chyrus's Humility, Thenios's Wisdom, and Vesiphone's Purity buffs, and cycle between three bonus abilities:

Spell mage runeofpower.png Sigil of Clarity 100 yd range — Direct Pelagos to etch a sigil into the ground nearby. Instant (10 sec cooldown)
Ability heroicleap.png Valorous Charge 100 yd range — Direct Kleia to charge to the target, dealing Arcane damage and stunning nearby enemies for 3 sec. Instant (10 sec cooldown)
Ability vehicle liquidpyrite blue.png Supercharged Canister 100 yd range — Direct Mikanikos to toss a Supercharged Canister at the target location. After 4 sec, it explodes for Arcane damage to nearby enemies. Instant (10 sec cooldown)

Run forward:

Polemarch Adrestes yells: Glory to the Archon! Glory to Bastion!

Stage 2: No Doubt

Clear the Courtyard.
  • Clear the Courtyard (0/100%)
Lysonia says: Charging right in, are we?
Lysonia says: Subtlety never was Kyrestia's strength.
Lysonia yells: Witness the full glory of the Forsworn!

Start killing mobs to fill the bar - Fallen Legionnaires, Forsworn Doubtguards, Forsworn Oracles, Forsworn Javelineers, Avowed Soulbinders, and Reinforced Pouncers. The party can tank, so let them. Use the bonus abilities frequently - they help increase the DPS output significantly.

At 33%:

Lysonia says: Inconsequential.

At 66%:

Lysonia says: They were weak. I should thank you for ridding me of their failure.

Stage 3: Dark Machinations

Defeat Adonias and Phaedra.
  • Defeat Adonias and Phaedra
Lysonia says: You killed recruits, nothing more. Others shall take their place.
Lysonia says: My champions will not fall so easily.

The two champions share health, so take them out.

At around 66%:

Pelagos says: Lysonia, it is not too late to give up this madness! We are all kyrian!
Lysonia says: Silence, aspirant. You know nothing of madness.
Kleia says: You know how this ends. You will share Devos's fate!
Lysonia says: I had to give up my memories. My past. My entire existence!
Lysonia says: You dare speak her name? What my Paragon set in motion has only just begun!
Lysonia says: You think yourself righteous. Yet you kill your kin without pause.
Lysonia says: I will continue her work. All of our fates depend on it.
Lysonia says: That is the great hypocrisy of the Archon.

Finish them off and Lysonia will stun the party:

Lysonia says: Rain death upon them!

Stage 4: Attack of Opportunity

Push forward to the Truthbringer.
  • Push forward to the Truthbringer
Vesiphone says: It is not your time. Rise and fight on!
Lysonia says: They are still standing. Again!
Athanos says: Colossus anima low. Must recharge.
Lysonia says: Then charge it! Drain our centurions if you have to!
Kleia says: The way is clear to the south. We must hurry!

After Vesiphone releases the stun, head southwest through the open doorway:

Chyrus says: We will keep their reinforcements at bay. Push onward!

Don't bother killing the constantly-respawning enemies that Chyrus is engaging. Head north down to the lower level.

Stage 5: An Old Friend

Stop the Forsworn from activating the Truthbringer.
  • Prevent the Truthbringer from activating
Lysonia says: Persistent, aren't you?
Lysonia says: Buy us time! The Truthbringer is nearly recharged.

Defeat the wave of enemies at the base of the steps.

Lysonia says: Stop them, curse you! Athanos, give every last drop of your anima if you must!
Pelagos says: Wait, Athanos...?
Athanos says: Y-yes... my Paragon...

Clear out the other group on the other side of Athanos.

Lysonia says: Surely you remember your training in the Crucible. He was quite easy to turn.
Kleia says: Anything but him...
Athanos says: Tone unacceptable. Removing lethality restrictions.

Take out Athanos, the Overtuned Sparring Assistant back from the N [51-60] Assessing Your Spirit quest early in the Bastion storyline to continue.

Stage 6: Follow the Path

Take the gateway to the Temple.
Lysonia says: Must I do everything myself?
Lysonia says: You will not stop my destiny. Not when I am so close.

As Athanos fell, so did the Truthbringer. Head southwest through what is about to be a huge pack of enemies, but Xandria swoops in and takes them all out:

Xandria yells: TASTE MY STEEL!
Xandria says: Get over here!
Xandria says: I will clear the arena. The gateway to the temple is just north of here.
Xandria says: Archon's eyes upon us all.

Take a right and go down the steps to the west, then cut north to reach Thenios, who is blocking the more forsworn from approaching:

Thenios says: I cannot hold them for much longer! Get to the gateway!

On the dais just up the steps is the Anima Gateway. As players approach, Adrestes flies in, obviously wounded:

Polemarch Adrestes says: The day is almost ours, Maw Walker. Claim it... for us all.

Interact with the gateway to continue.

Stage 7: In Darkness' Domain

Confront Lysonia.
Lysonia says: We may have lost the Spires, but we were not without victory.
Lysonia says: Its anima is ours.
Lysonia says: I will finish what Devos started. We will no longer be thralls to the Archon, blinded by 'the path'.
Lysonia says: Kyrestia is right, the Shadowlands are broken. But to fix them requires strength of will... strength she lacks.
Lysonia says: Step forward, so you may disappoint me as Uther did.

Engage her:

Pelagos says: This is your last chance. Your forces lie defeated all around you, you have already lost!
Lysonia says: Foolish aspirant. If you are all that is left to face me, then it is you that have lost.
Lysonia says: Is that all you have? Show me the strength of the Archon! Seize the victory you so desperately crave!
Lysonia says: I can show you your past. Give this realm a future. Abandon the Archon's lies and join me!
Kleia says: I will never abandon my kin as you have! Never!

At 60%, Lysonia goes immune and stuns the party before flying off.

Stage 8: A Clever Ploy

Rally to Elysian Hold's defense!
Lysonia says: The day is already mine. Thanks to your little assault, the Archon is undefended for the first time.
Lysonia says: Once the Archon falls even your precious Paragons will see the truth.
Chyrus yells: The Forsworn are en route to Elysian Hold! We must return at once!

Interact with Chyrus to get a lift back to Elysian Hold:

Chyrus says: The rest of our forces are retreating to the Hold as well.
Chyrus says: I only hope we are not too late. If the Archon falls...
Chyrus says: Bastion would be hers.
Chyrus says: We will prevent any more of her army from advancing on the Archon. I swear it.
Chyrus says: You must defeat Lysonia at any cost.

Chyrus drops players off near where Cassius is kneeling wounded, ending the stage. Above, kyrian fight the Forsworn, as do the Paragons in the remaining parts of Elysian Hold. Continue toward the Rise.

Final Stage: The Greater Good

Defeat Lysonia once and for all.

Lysonia, still at 60% health, is at Adrestes' usual position before the Archon's Rise, staring at Kyrestia the Firstborne. Run up the stairs to start the encounter:

Lysonia says: Come, Maw Walker. Bear witness to the Archon's end!
Lysonia flies up to the rise.
Lysonia yells: Kyrestia, your reign ends on this day! The kyrian will follow a new master!
Kyrestia the Firstborne says: Empty threats, ascended.
Kyrestia the Firstborne says: Your master serves you only lies.
Lysonia says: Such power, yet so blind. Allow me to lift the veil from your eyes, my Archon.
Lysonia says: Now!
Lysonia says: All the memories purged, the lives forgotten. They will have justice!
Kleia says: We have become more than our pasts! Can't you see that?
Lysonia says: And what has that lead to? Aspirants unable to ascend. Centurions rotting in the fields!
Pelagos says: Those are outside of our control! As long as we follow the path we can work through them together!
Lysonia says: YOU ARE ALL NOTHING BEFORE THE MAW!
Lysonia says: The path you walk leads only to ruin! I will forge a new destiny for our people.
Lysonia says: Uther's shattered soul opened the Maw's power to me. Now I will show it to you firsthand!
Uther says: Have you lost your mind, Lysonia?
Uther says: To become one with such darkness is to forsake all that it means to be kyrian!
Uther says: I will stand by the Forsworn no longer. I would rather forget my past than make this our future.
Uther says: Justice will be done.
Mikanikos says: Lysonia's champion is fighting against her!

Finish her off:

Lysonia says: Impossible... what I saw...
Kyrestia the Firstborne says: Your service is complete.
Kyrestia the Firstborne says: As for you, Uther...
Uther says: My Archon, I ask for your mercy. I... did not understand...
Kyrestia the Firstborne says: It is granted, for now.
Kyrestia the Firstborne says: Your actions this day have shown me much.
Kyrestia the Firstborne says: We shall discuss your fate in time. Until then, you may stay here under guard.
