The Desecrated Altar is a large altar located in Ahn'kahet: The Old Kingdom, south of the Befouled Terrace and just southeast of the Fallen Temple. The area has been taken over by Twilight's Hammer cultists led by Jedoga Shadowseeker. Heading down a side path to the east leads to the Shimmering Bog, while the Fallen Temple can be accessed by a web bridge from the northwestern corner of the area.

Patch 3.3.2 (2010-02-01): Several enemies between the Befouled Terrace and The Desecrated Altar have been removed or had their pathing altered. - Patch 3.0.2 (2008-10-14): Added.
