The Shimmering Bog is a fungal bog clinging to a cliff on the southeastern edge of Ahn'kahet: The Old Kingdom, accessed via a narrow path leading down from the Desecrated Altar. The area is inhabited by Savage Cave Beasts and, on heroic mode, the optional boss Amanitar.
