Discussion

I was looking at the Excel data from WoWTCGdb and they have a bunch more data that we don't capture in this template and appear to separate some data we combine. Here are some examples:

supertype: Not in template (Instant/Two-Handed).
race, class: Separate data which we combine in subtype
professions, talent: Not in template.
keywords: Not sure what this is, but not in template.
allowedrace, allowedtalent, allowedprofession, allowedclass: Not in template.
strikecost: Not in template.
def: Not in template.
artisturl: We probably don't need this.
rulings, notes: Might be nice.

Some correctings of this template--QuazaR (talk) 23:43, 16 July 2009 (UTC)
You should probably see Template:Infobox TCG card also. --g0urra[T҂C] 13:09, 17 July 2009 (UTC)
Yes, I see Template:Infobox TCG card and now I use them --QuazaR (talk) 20:47, 18 July 2009 (UTC)

Full art

Most of the times, when checking the full art and full back art, I'm interested in this page instead of being directed to big image itself. I think that way it would be more intuitive (hopefully) for others, and If one wants the full image, they are one click away, but from the big one there is no way to the first page. Considering the other images in this box and other infoboxes also point to the first page, could it be changed? --HordeRace bloodelf male.jpg Mordecay (talk) 19:17, 14 May 2021 (UTC)

unfortunately changing the link to point to the file page wouldn’t work for a lot of readers. fandom’s decided to make it so users who aren’t logged in can’t view file pages at all; they get redirected to an article where the file is shown, so if the link went to the file page, it would probably send them to the [item/NPC/spell/etc.]’s page instead.
honestly the card page layout needs a revamp anyway (so the entire page isn’t piled into the infobox), and full art is one of those things i’d like to see moved out of the infobox. it’d just be such a big project that it hasn’t happened yet, eheh. —Eithris (talk) 20:06, 14 May 2021 (UTC)
I've went ahead and added a (v) link that links to the file's article.
I think an article like Boris Brightbeard is a good example on what they need for their article. What's on the card itself, I think is valuable for the infobox. As for the full image, I think moving that to a gallery would work better. — SurafbrovWarcraft Wiki administrator T / C 21:43, 14 May 2021 (UTC)
Thx! --HordeRace bloodelf male.jpg Mordecay (talk) 21:54, 14 May 2021 (UTC)

Artist list

Heya, could someone make me a list of pages that have this template but don't have the "|artist=" param present in it, as well as when param is present but is not filled? Thx! --HordeRace bloodelf male.jpg Mordecay (talk) 07:45, 22 July 2021 (UTC)

See Category:TCG artist empty, it is populating so give it time but it should include articles without the param or does have it but it is empty. — SurafbrovWarcraft Wiki administrator T / C 21:18, 19 August 2021 (UTC)
Ok, I think I got all the relevant pages that I wanted to look at, and updated them. The current ones in the category appear not to have any artists as they don't have unique art (besides WoW maps as background). Removing the param creates "<Unknown artist>" in the box, so I left the param there. --HordeRace bloodelf male.jpg Mordecay (talk) 10:50, 22 August 2021 (UTC)
