Should we have a meeting stone level param?

I'd like to add a parameter for meeting stone level, which is quite often not the same as recommended level or minimum entry level. If there are no objections in the near future, I'll add the optional param and try to fill it in wherever I can. — soapster 04:50, 27 October 2008 (UTC)

Late response... but that might be a good idea. Snake.gifSssssssssssssssssssssssss Coobra sig3.gifFor Pony! (Sssss/Slithered) 23:03, November 10, 2009 (UTC)
I'd agree, but at this point it's a little like shutting the barn door after the cow's gone. Blizzard's removing the varying meeting stone levels in 3.3 and giving them all a flat level 15 minimum, with no maximum level. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 23:29, November 10, 2009 (UTC)
Oooo, nice... about time too, shame they didn't do it in time for Hallow's End. >< Snake.gifSssssssssssssssssssssssss Coobra sig3.gifFor Pony! (Sssss/Slithered) 00:12, November 11, 2009 (UTC)

Should LFD tool requirements be part of the box?

The LFD tool restricts queuing for dungeons based on parameters like player level, average item level, heroic key/pre-quest, entrance discovered... For the minimum player/item level it could make sense to show them in the box, too, both for normal and heroic mode. --Elkanotalk/contributions 10:52, 9 December 2010 (UTC)

Avg ilvl requirement

I would like to have an additional field "avgilvl" that shows what the minimum average item level requirement is to join the specific dungeon. If the field is not specified in the template call (with or without #data:) there is no avg ilvl requirement. Hans Kamp (talk) 15:26, 2 March 2011 (UTC)

Parameter has been added (ilvl=). If no requirement, leaving it blank works just fine. Snake.gifSssssssssssssssssssssssss Coobra sig3.gifFor Pony! (Sssss/Slithered) 04:10, 3 March 2011 (UTC)

Advised level & minimum level

would anyone be opposed to changing the "advised level" label to "level range" and phasing out "minimum level"? having both seems superfluous in the modern game. i'm honestly not even sure there are still any dungeons you can enter while below the dungeon's scaling range.

and advised level could of course be kept around as a differently-named parameter, for use on old versions of dungeons. Eithris (talk) 04:33, 9 April 2023 (UTC)

Sounds good to me. — SurafbrovWarcraft Wiki administrator T / C 06:26, 9 April 2023 (UTC)
Since dungeons will now scale throughout their entire level range, I see no reason to keep either "advised level" or "minimum level." -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 08:13, 9 April 2023 (UTC)
I don't think there is a need for Ilvl and or minimum level. But I don't think we should remove the level parameter but just change to name on the display to "for levels". Plus I don't think Key is needed anymore. It can be put in the Trivia section instead. {Yuvyuv111 (talk) 06:23, 26 April 2023 (UTC)}
