Tehd Shoemaker is a Forsaken warlock who appears in various locations around the Broken Isles including Azsuna, Highmountain, Stormheim and Val'sharah, fighting various powerful demons alongside his partner, Marius Felbane. The two have a professional relationship, not liking each other but acknowledging that they need each other's help. Helping Tehd and his partner is the subject of the achievement  [Tehd & Marius' Excellent Adventure]. Tehd later appears at the Hijacked Portal on the Broken Shore.

Despite being a warlock, Tehd does not summon demons to fight for him, though he has been shown to be very knowledgeable about tracking and restraining demons, shown when he was able to capture Doomlord Kazrok. This synergizes with Marius' apparent combat abilities as a Demon hunter.

Marius and Tehd share a professional relationship, hating each other and what the other stands for, but acknowledging that they need each other to help fight the Legion.[1] In their efforts, they have fought a giant felbat named Felwing, a doomlord named Doomlord Kazrok, a satyr named Gathenak the Subjugator, and various other demons.

He and Marius Felbane can be found in a cave in Zuldazar where they've cornered a Shivarra named Syrawon the Dominus. Tehd claims that they need the "piece of paper" that the demon has and that it's "Nothing worth reading."[2]

Gossip

Llothien Highlands

Now I know you may be asking yourself why a demon hunter and a warlock are so far out here away from the action.

But while you are asking yourself that, also ask yourself to be quiet and mind your own business.

Llothien Highlands

This... demon... is too powerful. I can't contain it for long and we... are not strong enough... to defeat it by ourselves.

Gossip Okay...?

Marius Felbane says: We are ready. Let it come!
Tehd Shoemaker says: I... can't... hold it... any longer.
Defeating the demon
Tehd Shoemaker says: Marius, you prideful glutton. You almost got me killed.
Felbane Camp
I make these Demon Hunters nervous. Little old me. Tehd from Lordaeron. Hee hee.
Always remember, in a land of fel infused ancient elves, the peasant with a good banish spell is king.

Warlocks with  [Scepter of Sargeras]
Oh good. Here comes <name> with the Scepter of Sargeras. You know, in case we need to punch a hole in spacetime and shatter the planet.
Hijacked Portal, Broken Shore

I am going to parse this out in what we can do and what we can't do.

We CAN go through this portal to a demonic gateway that I made a connection with.

We CAN'T know what's on the other side because magic does not work that way.

So, you go first. Good luck, "hero."

Zuldazar
I heard you might be skulking about.
Thanks to an... indiscretion... On Marius' part, not mine, we had to come to this humid hell hole filled with things that like chewing on bones to find this nasty demon.
Help us and you can have whatever there is of value off of her corpse.
We just want the piece of paper she has on her. Nothing worth reading.
Gossip Okay...?

Dialogue

Kingsmouth River, Zuldazar
  • 'Let's go to the jungle' you said. 'See the sights' you said. I should have known your blind spot would get us into trouble.
  • This is why I don't like partners.
