Old discussion

Why my every change to the Wiki is being reverted? I added the info about the Pandarens and it was reverted, why? Look to the articles about Pandaren, Pandaria, Pandaren Empire etc. It clearly states that Pandaren are present somewhere in Stonetalon Mountains (but they're location remains secret). --Shargas the Naga 17:02, 24 November 2007 (UTC)

They were believed to. But it still remains far from being hard fact, even in the context of the lore. If you wanted to add a section of the bottom of the article with a short note and the {{speculation}} template that might be more appropriate.Warthok Talk Contribs 17:25, 24 November 2007 (UTC)
It was only your third main namespace edit, and of the other two, one wasn't reverted, and the other was for the same reason as this one. Infoboxes aren't for speculation, they're to highlight known information of the article. In any case, Warthok's suggestion is good, and thanks for making the change :) Kirkburn  talk  contr 17:47, 24 November 2007 (UTC)
Actually its not just rumors its the truth according to lore that a splinter group set up a colony in the Stonetalon mountains, but we have an entire article devoted to that information that can be found in the geography section of this article, Pandaren Settlement.Baggins 18:01, 24 November 2007 (UTC)
Well, perhaps that should have been said in the Pandaren article ;) I've linked it on there too, now. Kirkburn  talk  contr 18:17, 24 November 2007 (UTC)

Flight paths

There's no point in writing (in the adjacent zones table) that adjacent zones can be reached "by flight path", because every single region at the continent can actually be reached that way! ; D ~JBF~ 22:57, 10 January 2008 (UTC)

Made a new topic header. Not all adjacent zones are accessible by flight path. Refer to, for example, Swamp of Sorrows. ---- Varghedin.jpg Varghedin  talk / contribs 18:08, 11 January 2008 (UTC)
I think the interesting is to see how to get to the adjacent zones by foot/mount - by flight paths you can reach almost every zone, and if you wonder which flight paths to choose, you can find out in the Travel Hubs part... ~JBF~ 20:35, 15 January 2008 (UTC)

Stonetalon Lake

I keep hearing of a "Stonetalon Lake" west of Stonetalon Peak. I guess it is a place hidden, but you can see it below (not sure if you get the name too) when you take the flight path from Auberdine to Stonetalon Peak. Rolandius Paladin.gif (talk - contr) 11:53, 9 April 2009 (UTC)

Goblin Stuff

How are we certain that the goblins have finished their deforestation? The video at least does not make this clear. gadget (talk) 06:02, September 8, 2009 (UTC)

If anything, the video might suggest the Venture Company's efforts being hampered by the Cataclysm as their logging machine is clearly on fire in the trailer.Xarantaur (talk) 14:08, October 5, 2009 (UTC)

Benny

Benny? Who's that? BobNamataki (talk) 17:55, November 24, 2009 (UTC)

"So much lava, even Benny would burn alive. Who put the goat in there?" is a reference to Benny Lava. It is a joke.--SWM2448 00:07, November 25, 2009 (UTC)

Pandaren

hey guys i just wanna know if its true that theres a pandaren settlement on Stonetalon mOuntains?--Jirovidicama (talk) 03:04, 17 January 2011 (UTC)

Yes, but not in World of Warcraft itself.--SWM2448 03:12, 17 January 2011 (UTC)

oh how bad well i will wait until they put a pandaren settlement lol--Jirovidicama (talk) 01:44, 18 January 2011 (UTC)

Affiliation

Why Horde? Isnt it neutral as Ashenvale, Desolace or Southern Barrens? --Mordecay (talk) 07:54, 1 May 2012 (UTC)

While the original version of the zone may have had a distinct Horde slant to it, the current version is pretty well split. Changing it to Contested. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 08:12, 1 May 2012 (UTC)

inacessable area

What's that green area, in the north-west? I can't get there from the ground and isn't it a bit strange they've made like 2/10 of the zone's area inacessable lol? File:WorldMap-StonetalonMountains.jpg

--Aquril (talk) 13:40, 1 September 2012 (UTC)

Just two-tenths? Compared to before, that is minimal. It was originally scenery viewable only by flight path or wall-walking. When Cataclysm added in accessible areas in countless other inaccessible areas, this one was not connected to anything.--SWM2448 03:17, 5 September 2012 (UTC)
