Gurubashi or Amani

The green skin and the northen geographical location in the secluded valley makes it rather implausable that they off spring from the Gurubashi Empire of BLUE SKINNED Jungle Trolls trolls, but I think that it is more likely that they are split off from the Green skinned Amani Forest Trolls. -Cajuun (talk · contr)

In the history of trolls section of the official site, Blizzard describes these trolls as being a tribe of jungle trolls. ---- Varghedin.jpg Varghedin  talk / contribs 07:01, 24 March 2007 (EDT)

Possible to get here?

Is it possible to visit this village in game? I know you fly over it if you're Ally on the griffon ride between the village in Moonglade to the docks of Teldrassil, but I didn't think there was a way to get up there, am I wrong? I'd love to go visit! NocturnalAbyss (talk) 23:16, 7 August 2008 (UTC)

There are currently no legitimate means of reaching this village. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 03:42, 8 August 2008 (UTC)
So, if I may, how did we get those pictures of the leaders of the tribe? NocturnalAbyss (talk) 19:05, 9 August 2008 (UTC)
There's a rather complex path starting at the exit of Timbermaw Hold into Winterspring that can get you there. BKred (talk) 03:00, 14 August 2008 (UTC)
I'll confirm this path. I've got my troll dancing there right now. Mockery (talk) 17:35, 5 October 2008 (UTC)

People using private servers, I'd assume. Only actual way of getting up there.Tweak the Whacked (talk) 19:24, 9 August 2008 (UTC)

Is any of the information on this page actually based on anything? BKred (talk) 03:02, 14 August 2008 (UTC)

YOu could get there on a regular server, at least at one time. Not sure about now. At one point a tree blocked the path to all but gnomes.Baggins (talk) 03:05, 14 August 2008 (UTC)

Definitely still accessable

Just went there last night; it's just as accessable as it's always been. The easiest way in is to climb up the southern side of the mountains just down the road from the entrance to Winterspring. There are 2 ways to get in once you're near the edge (but be careful, there are many ditches you can get stuck in, and the only way to get out of them is to hearth or try to use the auto-unstuck feature.) You will NEED to have a slowfall or invincibility spell to get in, or you WILL die and probably rez in the Darkshore graveyard, which is quite a walk back to your body. I thought about taking the plague there but I decided to preserve the sanctity of the place, as I've always liked to go there to reflect (not really). Saw some alliance there too, and we danced the night away! Murloxx (talk) 02:38, 27 October 2008 (UTC)

Confirmed that access is still 100% possible on the current live patch 3.1.2. All you need is a slowfall spell, or snowfall lager from storm peaks should even do the trick to get in without dying. I do wonder what the GM's think of people going there?(aka if you get caught is it a ban? Its not technically against the ToS since you dont need to hack anything to get there and its not really an exploit by just running around, jumping and drinking a potion/casting a spell, but who knows what they actually think.) —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Falcompsx (talk · contr).

Color

They look alot like light blue skinned trolls? Waht type of troll are they? (Hallowseve15 (talk))

They are said to have splited from the Gurubashi, so, that would make them Jungle troll.

When were they added?

Do anyone have the information of when they were added to the game? Thanks. Ekevoo (talk) 19:40, October 31, 2009 (UTC)

I'm pretty sure they've been there since the very beginning, although it's TECHNICALLY never been accessible. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 20:25, October 31, 2009 (UTC)

Affiliation?

The article says they're Horde, but flying over them as Alliance, I saw they were Neutral. Until Cataclysm I think the article should reflect their current affiliation. Kalistrasza (talk) 03:47, October 2, 2010 (UTC)

That's because of the way flight mechanics work. Once in a blue moon an Alliance 80 will get there, slay many of the creatures, and set off innumerable world defense pings for Horde players in darkshore. Definitely flagged for PvP Horde on live. Oakpack4 (talk) 21:55, October 9, 2010 (UTC)

Dark Trolls?

Since 4.0.3a and our ability to actually get close to them regularly, it would appear that they have that charcoal black skin tone the old cult models had. But there are some light blue females. Given their dark grey skin, and proximity to Hyjal, could these be Dark Trolls who have yet to recieve a unique model, or the larger one of the Ice and Forest trolls? Something tells me they may be retconned as Dark Trolls, especially since it was said that the mysterious Dark Trolls would make an appearance, along with the concept art. Myrlen Midnightstar (talk) 14:03, 25 November 2010 (UTC)

Yeah, I realized the males are all very dark and the female named ones are light; but i believe that the light blue skinned ones could be regular jungle trolls who wanted to join the Shatterspear? Can someone please answer or discuss this? Hallowseve (talk) 20:37, 24 December 2010 (UTC)

You would need an actual source rather than 'this is what it looks like in the game'. How Much Wood Could A Woodchuck Chuck If A Woodchuck Could Chuck Wood? (talk) 20:40, 24 December 2010 (UTC)

Current character classes

I guess the following displayed classes are presumed: High Priestess, Hexxer, Shadow Hunter, Priest and Lorekeeper? TherasTaneel (talk) 14:44, 7 August 2011 (UTC)

Destroyed?

Should someone add in the faction box's status line and into the article's text "Destroyed by the Darnassus' Alliance forces in the War of the Cataclysm"?

As the answer is "yes" for me, I will add for now Gabrirt (talk) 19:30, 17 January 2012 (UTC)
